I celebrate Christmas, but I do have a friend who celebrates Hanukkah I always sent her Christmas cards even though I knew she was Jewish, I didn't even think about Hanukkah I felt stupid years later when she told me she doesn't celebrate Christmas Is it just me or is it REALLY hard to find a decent "Happy Hanukkah" card?

Happy Hanukkah!!! This is my first time celebrating Hanukkah without my family so I lit the candles and said the prayers all by myself.

It is sometimes hard to find Hanukkah stuff in stores because it isn't a big "commercialized" holiday like Christmas. Hanukkah is a smaller holiday and not nearly as big as Yom Kippur or Rosh Hashanah, but you also don't really see anything for those holidays. It also depends on the area as well.

Happy Hanukkah!
One of my clients mentioned that it starts the same day as thanksgiving and I was like, wow that seems early! Then I heard during the Macy's parade yesterday that it hasn't been the same day as thanksgiving since like 1884 or something. Happy holiday to those who celebrate!

Dumb question but why is it early??

The Jewish calendar is different then one the we all use so Jewish holidays don't really have fixed dates, so year it just happens to came early.
