My husband will usually comment "Well I see you got more ponies, guess I can buy more mustang parts"...lol Then I have to remind him, it takes a lot of ponies to equal a car part :)

All of my pony mail gets delivered to me at work - so everyone always asks me what pony I got this time (even the members)  ^.^
The mailman always lets me know if I get a package as I'm walking in. It's kind of nice!

My Gran once told the post man proudly that all the parcels were "ponies for her grand-daughter" which he seemed to accept happily enough. My Gran loved my ponies. The post man had to readjust his thinking when 25 year old grand-daughter met him at the concierge office one day.

7 years later and the same post man still delivers my mail, my Gran is no longer with us and if and when I see that post man he always comments that my Gran would love to see what pony I was getting today.

That's so sweet, made me tear up a bit.. <3

Ll my husband and brother in law get magic cards in the mail as well so the usual comment is "is that my magic or did you get another appledash? Or pinkie shy?"  You'd think in the last couple of years I've watched the show they'd get the name right lol. And another comment most used by everyone is "PONY MAIL,," haha.

I hide my packages... but sometimes my wife will say "Oh Shadow will be so happy!" (cause the cat likes to cuddle with the ponies)

Every package I get - no matter what it is - "What pony is it this time?"  I do buy other things too.  :)

My dad will also tease me when the mail truck goes by and ask how many ponies I think are in that truck,

My son loves to watch me open pony parcels.  He doesn't usually have any commentary, however, beyond an eager, "Who'd you get this time?" ^.^  He likes my ponies almost as much as I do, and since my display shelf is in his room (which he gripes loudly about when his friends visit  ), he enjoys knowing who'll be on rotation soon.

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

I nearly died (well not literally) when I came home from work and saw my son playing with my mommy and baby pony. He had checked the mailbox and opened my package without the nanny noticing straight away. She thought the pony was for the kids so she let him continue play with it. He only did it just before I came home so nothing happened to it or the babies. I didn't correct her thinking it was for them but took it off my son and said she needs to make sure he doesn't open the mail, she might have got the hint just then ^^. That was just no fun, he could easily have damaged the pony and lost the twins. I kind of wanted to scream "that's a $100 worth pony you got there, rooooar". My son pretty much destroys anything he touches for too long, all the dollies and ponies are locked away and the key hidden.. I managed to stay calm though.. When he is older and less destructive he can have his own ponies, I have got some G4's stored for the kids.

Lol - I get that last one from my mum sometimes - "dont you have that one already?" or "when are you going to sell all those doubles". This normally deteriorates into a conversation about how something is a variant. After a few sentences her eyes glaze over...and I win!

Aww, that's a sweet story.

Unfortunately, I don't get comments (I lived alone up until two months ago -- I now have a roommate who doesn't deign to comment)... but my cat does love to rub her face against anything new that enters the house (she usually prefers to pay attention to the box the pony came in, rather than the actual pony, though).
