'Pearly' Rainbow Dash variant?

I noticed while I was looking on G4 pony lots and I noticed something strange:

Is it just me or does the one on the left look to be a bit more 'pearly' textured than the one on the right? Is there a pearly rainbow dash version out there somewhere or is it just be the way the seller took the picture and it's just a tad shinier because of the lighting?

They are different editions so they might be made of slightly different kinds of plastics but I haven't heard of pearly G4s so I doubt that is the case.

I can completely see the impression of the one on the left looking shiner than the other. But I think its going to be a lighting issue. The one on the right has shiny sections as well where the light is catching her.

The one on the left is an earlier release, and I believe it is made of slightly different plastic to the one on the right, which is causing a slight texture and colour difference.

Huh, i have almost every single release variant of RD and none of my RD ponies look like this. Mt first release Applejack FS and Luna FS look a little metallic but not pearly. Ive seen kids take shimmer makeup and make their toys shiny before! That with lighting can  make a pony look indeed pearly!
