I haven't dealt with Soom specifically but it seems most of the doll companies I have encountered use a Q&A board as their main contact point for customer service rather than an email or phone line.

The one occasion I had to use one (contacting Bambicrony with a question about an order I had received) I left the Q&A message and they responded to that post within a couple of business days.

Hope this helps a little bit.  :)

I would also love to attend a meet in Calgary. I likely wouldn't be able to help too much until Brownies wraps up at the end of April but after that I wouldn't mind lending a hand in some way.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.

Diamond - My Brownie group is part of Girl Guides Canada. I am one of four leaders because our group is very large this year. Always glad to meet another leader. :)

kiwimlp - I do love the hairy feet. Hoping to add some of the baby brothers to my collection some day.

Hello all. I figured it was time to stop lurking and start participating. :)

Personal:

How old are you? 23

Where do you live?  Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Do you work or attend school? Profession or major? Just finished a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Museum and Heritage studies. Currently working at a local independant toy store. My dream is to open my own toy museum.

Who are the important people in your life? My large extended family, my Brownie troop (I'm Spotted Owl), my four leopard geckos and Toby the bearded dragon.

Ponies:

How long have you been collecting? Little over a year.

Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2, G3 or G4? Primarily G4 and some G1

What made you want to collect ponies? A mix of nostalgia for my childhood ponies and the fact that ponies are just flat out cute.

My collection is still very small. I have most of the G4 singles. My G1 collection includes 4-speed, Salty, Hula Hula and a non Baby Beddy Bye Eye Half Note.
