Hi All, This commission is a persona pony for Witch. She started life as G1 Sparkle Pony Star Dancer, she was then dyed a deep scarlet red to reflect the color of the persona. The hair was dyed in scarlet and purple using "Blizzard" from Dollyhair.com. Her emblem was hand painted then sealed. She has light airbrush work around her eyes in a deep purple pearl. Hope you like her :)

I am beyond excited. I just moved house so my internet has been down, so believe my absolute surprise and elation when I logged on and saw this masterpiece! Darkhorse, she is stunning! I can not believe how great she turned out.
Also I have since renamed her Sabina, as Billie wasn't sticking. She is so witchy and gorgeous!

Her dye job is amazing! :O I'm not sure if I've even seen a dyed sparkle pony before
-
Thank You Everyone! I'm glad you like her Witch :)

Wow, she's amazing! The red and purple really work.

Oh very nice!
I have one question, how long do you wait after dying a pony to paint it? I've always had issues with dye bleeding through the paint that even if I wait a some time I just give up on the idea of dying ponies :(
Also is that normal RIT dye or RIT DyeMore?

I use the liquid version of RIT. I waited a while to paint her, however I did notice that the eye whites took several layers before the red finally stopped bleeding through. The emblem has several layers as well but is pretty dark so I didn't notice any seepage. Possibly adding a base clear acrylic prior to painting may help with this issue :)

Really beautiful work!! I never realized how much painting in white first would make the symbol pop on a dark pony but WOW!!
