I used to not be a fan but I've come to have a solid appreciation. I won't bypass milk chocolate in favor of it though.
-
Yes love it!!!!
But... I am extremely picky about it  Certain white chocolate is disgusting.
Milkybar is one of my favourites.
Hotel chocolate (shop not actual hotel ;)) is yummy too.
There are quite a few other nice ones.
I have found the cheap white chocolate (like gold coins) are horrid though. :X
-
Love it! But it has to be the good stuff. Not that cheap waxy junk they make for Easter of Valentines.
-
Only if there is no other chocolate available. LOL
-
Yes! I prefer it over milk chocolate.
But yeah, not all of it tastes that great.
-
I don't mind some of it, usually prefer milk chocolate (or hazelnut, yummy Nutella!).
-
Not too much really. Only in our holiday white chocolate chex mix where we melt it over Chex, pretzels, peanuts and M&Ms. That stuff is addictive, but otherwise not a fan. Oddly enough, I have been craving dark chocolate lately even though milk chocolate has always been my favorite.
-
I like it in very small amounts. Eating very much of it will make me feel sick, but I do like it up to that point. lol
-
I love white chocolate! It's so sweet but without the cloying richness of milk chocolate, at least that's my opinion. I love to use it in blondies (white chocolate brownies) and white chocolate cheesecake *drools*... I'm on a sugar free diet at the moment though, and now I'm craving some white chocolate! *pout*
In recent years my intolerance of sulfites has increased so most brands of milk chocolate actually burn my throat. My Dad is actually allergic to cocoa so I was raised with a healthy appreciation of white chocolate. I've grown to like dark chocolate too as my taste buds mature.
-
I love it.

I feel similarly, I like it if I take a small bite of it. Much more and it feels like a headache and stomachache and it's just overwhelming.
Peppermint bark is so good though. I also tried a coconut white chocolate that was pretty good.
-
No. It's to sweet for me. I prefer milk and dark chocolate.
-
Yes, I go by extremes - white and dark chocolate are the best! (Although the dark stuff has to be the really overpowering stuff with all the cocoa solids - yum!) Not keen on milk chocolate for the most part. My favourite white chocolate would have to be Crunch bars; I loved them as a kid and I still do now! :D
-
Yes yes yes yes, a thousand times yes. I love all chocolate!
-
White chocolate is my favourite!

I forgot about peppermint bark! Yes, I do like that too.
-
I like it, but I like milk chocolate and dark chocolate more.
-
Yes. Not as much as dark chocolate but I still like it. I'm not a big chocolate fan though.
-
Yes, white chocolate is awesome. I like cookies 'n cream bars, white chocolate kitkat and white chocolate cookies with macadamia nuts.
-
I love it! Sometimes I prefer it to milk chocolate.
-
Love it, but it has to be top quality stuff with MA-safe ingredients. That usually means fair trade organic because they don't add things im allergic to :)
-
I like it when it's good quality, but the same goes for any kind of chocolate, really. The cheap stuff tends not to taste very nice.
-
As a kid I adored Milky Bars - but they don't taste so great to me these days, is has a weird fatty, waxy aftertaste.
Cheap white choc pennies - I was offered one recently and had to spit it out into the bin - perhaps because they are using palm oils instead of cocoa butter? It just tasted like I was crunching through waxy vanilla crayons!
Caramac bars - would I class that as white choc or golden/blonde choc? Delicious.
Rafaello - coconut + white choc balls YUMMY YUM YUM!!
But I have to say that I prefer milk choc - two recent experiences that come highly recommended:
Hotel Chocolat salted caramel milk choc - yum!
Gorvett & Stone salted caramel milk choc - HEAVENLY - they are based in Henley-on-Thames and hand-make their choc on-site. If you ever find yourself in the area, make a visit there. The chocs are expensive (double the cost of Hotel Chocolat) but taste SOOOO GOOD!

White chocolate isn't even really chocolate. It doesn't contain cocoa, so it is officially fake chocolate. I learned that when visiting a chocolate museum on the continent.
It's too sweet for me. I have always hated it. I like dark and milk but not white. Probably because it's not really chocolate. And my brain isn't fooled.

There's a chocolate museum?

I  good white chocolate. :)
-
I'm a dark chocolate girl.

In the UK there is Cadbury World, I dunno if that counts as a museum or choc theme park - I have never had a chance to visit but you do get to see how some of the chocs are made (I think).
As a kid I went to the Mars factory - saw two HUGE silos of molten chocolate, higher than a house *swoon*
and the Bounty coconut fondant roller machines - a carpet of coconut! *drool*
plus we got to eat some of the chocs freshly made that day - I recall that they somehow tasted even better super-fresh than when bought from the stores after sitting on shelves for weeks... :P

Can you recommend any brands? I'd like to try some high quality white chocolate. (I also like supporting fair trade, lol.) I think the stuff I've had up till this point has been the cheap stuff, which I don't like.
-
Nope, don't like it. Too sweet and I don't like the taste.
-
You had me at 'chocolate' :inlove:
-
yes but i can only have a bit as its quite sweet !
-
I love it! I will even pick it over milk chocolate. :hearts:
-
Yuck. I like dark chocolate best.
-
Noooo. Avid chocolate fan, from milk to very dark, but cannot stand white chocolate.
-
I am not very fond of white chocolate unless it's paired with something else (cookies n' cream, peanut butter). It's too sweet. I am more of a milk chocolate person.
-
I do like white chocolate, especially white mice!
Love pkw xxx

See, I used to be here. I don't know when it happened big at some point I started appreciating white chocolate like in a separate spectrum from milk and dark chocolate. Once I started thinking of it as its own thing I was like yeah I can enjoy this! lol silly I know
-
I love it when it has cashews in it.

Wow, I have never heard of that! And I'd never think to pair cashews with white chocolate. Now I have to try it, haha.
