Hi all, im working on making a fun coloring book for my local pony meet up
And id love to hear suggestions of which ponies to draw.

Can you share your favorite in this thread?

My favorites are Glory, Skydancer, Bubbles and Blue Baby Ember.  Kind of boring, but they were some of my first ponies.

Are you looking for suggestions from all generations?

My G1 favourites are Gusty, Butterscotch (but maybe not ideal for a colouring book), the Brush 'n' Grow set, the Rainbow Curl set, Barnacle and Wigwam (or any boy pony really).

Seconding the Brush & Grows. Also, can we have some art featuring Ponies not sold in the States??? Hopscotch & her pals, the Mountain Boys, Nachtlicht, Regentropfen, Baby Applejack, Baby Bowtie, & Baby Hopscotch's friends are a few who spring immediately to mind.
If you want to do G3s, I LOVE the Super Long Hair Ponies & would adore more art of them.

I agree Locket is really special, maybe due to the uniqueness of her concept. I love the concepts in TE, like Galaxy, Masquerade and Tic Tac Toe. And the hair colour combos of course! Not sure I could remember them offhand to colour in though.

I also love playset ponies like Cascade (with the waterfall and Duck Soup). I used to love playset scenes to colour in.

Baby Cuddles, Tiddly Winks and Half Note are lovely with maybe Teddi as their Nanny. I'm all about babies at the moment.

I like the idea of the pony's name on the page, maybe in a font that looks like the g1 font ^^

My favourite is Lemon Drop! How about some sea ponies, or Ballerina pony (+ ballerina baby)? I would love to see what you've drawn later, too!

Agree with the G1 font! You could also go for a full 'backcard' look.

I love all of G2 but Moonshadow was always my favorite! For G1 I’m partial to Posey, she’s just so sweet. For G3 my favorite is Rainbow Dash. For G4 my favorites are Rainbow Dash and alicorn Twilight Sparkle. I haven’t watched the movie or show yet but I love the look of Sunny Starscout for G5 as both an Earth pony and alicorn.

But honestly you could throw a dart at a catalog or Pinterest board and I’m sure you’ll land on a favorite!

The pony's name on the page is a good idea! My favorite ponies are Masquerade and Buttons
