There's absolutely nothing that makes your entry a failure, no need to put yourself down. It only broke the rule of no Hasbro ponies or OCs. To be honest, I think that's the rule we get most questions about in each contest. Especially since there are many great seasonal Hasbro ponies that would be perfect candidates. The simple reason behind this rule is that we want the colouring contests to inspire and measure creativity, not only technical skill. That's why the originality of the design plays such a big part.

That said, please show off your work in the thread I linked above!

Aw, I'm sorry ZeldaTheSwordsman! I wouldn't have thought that a Hasbro pony wasn't allowed either - I almost drew a Hasbro pony too! :O I'm sure your art was beautiful though! As you can see above, every entrant brought their own unique style and aesthetic to the coloring page, so each entry is very different, but that doesn't make any of them less or more beautiful! (It helps that the lineart is so lovely too!! ) I hope you will post yours!

I scrolled down and thought, "oh, those floating pumpkins are a cool idea" more than once and them remembered they are part of the original line art. So to the original artist, thise floating pumpkins are such a cool idea, I thought it more than once. I slways think it's interesting to see how people choose to colour something too, and how different the line art looks with colour.
