Jealous of snow!

There's another storm in the Gulf but it doesn't look like it will hit Florida, we will probably get rain from it though.

All the snow is gone and black November is here again. 
The temperature is close to 10 °C all the time. Fortunately, at night there may be frost and then I can admire the starry sky.

BC, I hope the storm doesn't come there!

It's looking more on track for Florida. It will be here next week.

For this weekend, we are getting a double dose of cold fronts! I think I'll open my windows.

i had to double check when hurricane season ends and it's technically Nov. 30. when i was a kid in the 80s and 90s I was obsessed with hurricanes and I just don't remember them being an issue after September.  It's crazy that they're happening so late now. how can anyone possibly deny that climate change is a thing still? stay safe BC!

it's finally cooling off here too. I may actually be able to start organizing the garage. it's supposed to be a warm winter here in Texas.

Beth, most of this season we had Saharan dust which suppressed a lot of storms. I hate to think what we would have had if it wasn't for that. But yeah, warm ocean water causes hurricanes to strengthen.

Update: My windows are open! It's supposed to be 60 tonight.

On Wednesday, there was a snowstorm in southern and central Finland! On Thursday, it moved to northern Finland. Now it has almost completely weakened. The storm brought almost 15cm of new snow to our area!
We have not had any power outages, and no trees have been blown down by the wind, but it has happened in several other places.

Another storm is coming at the beginning of next week, but it should be weaker than the last one and it will bring warm air and rain.

We are finally getting some much needed rain around here, it has been a bit dry.

i forgot about the Saharan dust. it seemed like the media went from saying that the initial hurricane forecast of a busy season was very wrong to a bunch of storms coming all at once. hopefully we're done for this year.

Rained all day yesterday. Sometime in the night we must have had a band of snow because there was a light dusting when I woke up. It all melted quickly, though. The temperature never got below freezing.

Another storm is approaching. It's already snowing, the flakes are really big! It's also windy. Too bad, the snowfall is slowly turning into sleet as the temperature starts to rise.

Yeah, we went from -6 Celcius yesterday to +9 today. Yesterday morning the sun was shining and with the snow I could've sworn it was February rather than November, it was so pretty! Now it's cloudy, windy, rainy and bleak. Blehhh. Well, I just hope the weather turns cold again in time for Christmas. Not a given in this part of the country...

I had rain most of lat week. It was cloudy today. I want it to clear up so I can go to the car wash and wash my dirty Kia Soul! I need to vacuum it to (it is soooo dusty omg).
