Cheers Taffeta!!! Yep kites are more of a March thing for us, catching the winds of spring wi Skyflier & this girl.

Gusty for me was the representative of autumn, & she & her baby would always be involved wi the leaves. Mum Gusty would blow them into big piles & Baby Gusty would jump into them!!!

Other autumn Ponies were Applejack & other Ponies wi fruit on them.

As for Fizzy, she, along wi the two Skyrockets, was a November Pony for us.

Her body and hair combo look nice but... that symbol... I'll have to pass, unless I find one with a symbol that has already worn away

Yeah. Well, all the Sparkles probably, to some degree. But Sky Rocket most of all. My sister is a November baby, and Fizzy was her first pony, so in our house Fizzy was always the autumn pony. My sister is generally of the opinion that autumn is 'her' season xD.

Gusty is an obvious autumn pony pick, too. But I suspect we'll see at least one Gusty before the week is out Gusty was also Nurse Gusty mind you, so not just about autumn.

I have her, but she was always "Breezy" to me because there was only One True Windy, and I hadn't learned the word "sylph" yet. She struck me as a sort of ephemeral nature spirit type pony who heralded the changing of the seasons. An easy association for me, since both spring and fall are accompanied by very strong winds in the places where I grew up. I imagine her theme was quite a bit more puzzling for kids in gentler climates. She's probably my third favourite MM, after Magic Hat and Mirror Mirror. The Magic Message ponies in general have such wild color schemes. There's rather an overabundance of green and coral shades in the set which is... a bold choice.

Her symbols still work, but I don't like to mess with them too much. I don't know what Hasbro was thinking by encouraging kids to rub them to activate the heat-sensitivity. That's way more destructive to the delicate surface than, like, hugging them to your cheek or whatever. Not sure if the tech was mouth-safe at that point, like the Sweet Kisses ponies, but still... For many kids, "rub to reveal" often devolved to increasingly hard scrubbing followed by compulsive picking.

I knew rubbing would never work for me, as I have terrible circulation in my hands, so I used the hair dryer. Touch-free techniques keep the symbols pretty nice though. Thank goodness Hasbro didn't make scratch-n-sniff symbols -- they would be a wreck!

Yep. She's not in amazing condition, but she's in my collection.

I don't have any of the Magic Message ponies. Perhaps I'll collect them at some point, but I'm not too excited about this gimmick (great idea, not so great in practice ) or the overall designs of these ponies. Plus I imagine they're terribly difficult to find in a good shape.

I have her and I adore her. She's my favorite pony in this pose in this pose and was a member of my childhood herd. As an adult collector, I knew I had to re-add her. She's 1 of only 5 ponies that's been in both my childhood and adult herds.
