Are Barbie dolls still made of solid plastic?

So I'm wondering if Barbies are still solid plastic, because Mattel made their Disney dolls with hollow plastic, at least right before they lost the license. I wanted to get some of the Barbie characters, but I don't want to be unpleasantly surprised if they're hollow plastic. I was so disappointed when my Belle was.

Most Barbies that my child has recently gotten are the hollow ones.

That's what I was afraid of. Are any still solid, like the ones with a lot of articulation?

I could be wrong, but I think the change started happening when they started being more articulated. Or at least this is what I noticed in the Barbie dolls I bought, although those are all articulated. Same thing was going on with the Disney dolls, depending on the years, some of those are a hybrid of non articulated (bendable plastic) legs with the hollow plastic articulated arms. Some of the later Disney dolls were all hollow plastic articulated fully (arms & legs).

Wow, how strange! All of my non-Barbie fully articulated dolls are solid plastic. I wonder why Mattel wants to cut corners with hollow articulation.
