I Need to Turn in my Fizzy Fan Card

So, my sister had her daughter in November 5th last year.  And it took me almost four months to realize she was born on Fizz Whizz Night.  I fail as a Fizzy fan.

Anyway, I'm hoping Basic Fun makes at least the first six Twinkle Eye ponies so I can get her a Fizzy when she's a little older (maybe give it to her on her 5th Birthday).

So, pile on me with Fizzy and Fizz Whizz night stuff.

Could just get her Fizzy and clean her all pretty anyway. As long as its given with love it won't matter that its a secondhand toy.

Fizzy was my sister's first pony (second hand) and she's also a November baby (but not November 5th) so she always loved that connection.

There are definitely a bunch of comics and comic covers with Fizzwhizz night stuff (because of GuyFawkes here). I'm sure LM must have some scans she can post as well, but this is the only one I can find in my files atm:

In the UK, on the 5th November, we have what is known as Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Night. You can google that to find out the details, but it involves fireworks and stuff. In the UK comics, Fizzy was always associated with the pony equivalent, known as Fizzwhizz night, and she would generally appear around November in the comics as a part of that narrative. It's a part of the UK pony canon to fit in with UK cultural tradition.

If I remember right, she was quite involved with the fireworks, but the addition of Sky Rocket in 1987 just added to the arsenal xD. (And of course, later, the sparkle ponies, inc. the other Sky Rocket).

I sadly don't own Fizzy, also didn't know about the Fizzwhizz Night either lol!
I did, however, make a Fizzy clone on PonyIsland... minus her symbol because I haven't gotten around to adding that lol

These are gorgeous!!! And I'd love Clipper to get on board wi fireworks themed Ponies (Celebration's there but they could make more to go wi him...)

I learned about Fizzwhizz Night from Taffeta . I would have never known about it otherwise since the US didn’t have the comics.

It is one of those things which is kind of curiously British as well, because only the British have firework displays to celebrate....well. Something like that.

You guys use fireworks in much more logical ways. BUT not in autumn.
