New 35th Anniversary Collector Ponies Spotted! Pics!

Hey, hey, hey! I got a response.  The weird thing though is that I did *not* ask about the Big Brother ponies.  So either they got me confused with someone else or they have gotten that many requests that it's an automatic response.

Hello,
The first wave of ponies will be in stores in January (Target, TRU and others, but not Walmart). It includes the original 6 ponies released in 1982:
Butterscotch
Blue Belle
Minty
Snuzzle
Cotton Candy
Blossom

There  will be additional waves in Summer/Fall 2018. The Big Brother ponies are not part of 2018 plans but could be for future waves in our 3year plan.

So great news! Not a Target exclusive *and* they have a whole THREE YEAR plan!   

This is wonderful news.    I’m hoping that  our UK friends will also get a chance to buy Glory and Medley and other ponies that weren’t sold there.

Wonderful news that they will also be at Toys R Us, and that more waves are coming! Squeee! I wonder if ShopKo will have them. We have a ShopKo closer than the other stores. Wish they were at Wal-Mart.... Wal-Marts are everywhere. The other stores, not so much. Sigh. It's harder to get to them.

Has anyone found them in Utah or Arizona yet?

A three year plan is good news and knowing the collector ponies are being restocked and will show up in other stores is making me feel more hopeful I'll get a chance to get at least Minty!  I'm excited and feel relieved.   Can't wait to see future releases!

How exciting to hear there are more to come. Hopefully now that they are confirmed for other stores in the States and Europe, Canada (and the rest of the world, naturally, ponies for all) will be on the radar too!

  Cheers people! Maybe Hasbro will start doing with MLP like they do with other favored brands? And if its through another company like how they do with TF and GI Joe, you won't hear ME complain. Much anyway.

Perhaps even the G2 crowd will start seeing a return of some of their beloved favorites?

Less likely things have happened. Such as Integrity with their incredible Jem line.

Me too! I’m so happy I could cry. I never imagined Hasbro would make another retro rerelease, much less 3 years worth! ::is overjoyed::

I wonder if they’ll keep their accessories accurate and include ribbons and stickers, etc? (Even the crappy 25th anniversary rainbow ponies had their stickers, though horribly stuck on the package.)

But the New York Toy Fair is just around the corner.  Surely we will hear something from that.  Usually that's when companies have their whole year's lineup on display.
