The loyal subjects vinyl figures. I got one! Anyone else seen them?

Hi everyone,

I tried to find the old thread on these guys and found nothing. But anyways I personally was excited for these guys and there are a couple that I really want. Haven't heard anything new on them but I was browsing eBay and came across a seller that had some and when I saw Princess Sparkle I grabbed her! I don't remember what the retail price is since I couldn't find anything on the ponies anywhere besides what we already know. I don't think we ever got an official release date, did we? But I got her for $16.99 with free shipping which I thought was pretty decent. The other one I really want is Gusty but they were asking $59.99 for her, holy cow. I want her but I can't spend that much with my wedding coming up. Has anyone else heard anything or gotten any?

I figured I'd take some pics for everyone. Here's Princess Sparkle with more under the spoiler. I had no idea that these guys were in parts, so when I saw one of her legs off I kinda freaked out lol. The seller flattened the box she came in, which I was kinda bummed about and put her in a baggy with all her stuff in another box. The box she was mailed in was plenty big enough to not have to flatten her box, but oh well. I have her and I'm happy

Honestly i like that term for g3/4 (probably because i'm so used to it) but it should stay out of g1/2

I think they look really cute! But for me the price is way too high for a blind box toy For that price I could add at least one new actual G1 pony to my collection  Unless they go on sale, or the price happens to lower, I think I will be holding off.

I haven't seen them in stores yet but this should be when they start rolling out so it makes sense.

Thank you for the pictures of the box. The odds on some of the figures is ridiculous! That is why Gusty is so much more. I can understand the odds being crazy for the exclusives/chase figures but the regular figures... makes it hard to collect and kinda dis-heartening for someone that wants all the regular characters. (The hard to finds ones are so arbitrary like Lickety Split.)

I wonder whose exclusive box that is.. supposedly all retailers will have different chase figures (this one is a shiny gold).

Do you know where the selller got it from or is located?

Agreed. I wonder if the $50 Gusty was one some one got from the factory as a prototype or something and they decided to flip it on eBay?

I think her joints are good. I mean they go forwards and backwards lol. Her legs and tail move easily, her head is a little hard to turn though. I would of preferred they just moved instead of popped on and off, but I think that's what this line of vinyls does. I can take some more pics after my sons nap, his room has better lighting lol.

Yes they are new for this year. We had a topic about them awhile back, maybe started a year ago and the company seemed to genuinely care about the opinions of collectors. I know the prototype glory was more of a grey color and the seller I got her from had a glory and she was very white. So they fixed that since that bugged a lot of people. I should of got her too but I was trying to be good lol.

I know I don't understand the odds either. It's very depressing.

I have no idea who else besides Walmart, I believe they carry some of the loyal subjects stuff. *edit* looks like Toys R Us, Hot Topic, Amazon, Gamestop, and Barnes and nobles as well for big retail stores.

If Amazon sells them for a decent price I might buy one. I don't really mind who I get, though I'd probably prefer Applejack... maybe I'll hold out for them to flood eBay, open and overpriced.

Honestly, if I were able to choose the character I'd probably buy more than chance it with low odds and doubles. But I guess blind boxes are more profitable.
