The birbs are eating their vegetables!!  I saw Younger Birb chewing on a bigger piece of kale, their chopped up veg today is carrot, broccoli and kale (no spinach). I have made enough for two lots so I think that will be their dinner tonight as well. I sprinkled in some sesame seeds in there too to entice them and made them think it's seeds.

(They CAN have sesame seeds!)

I managed to pick up my medication, have a haircut and get to the library to print stuff off despite the reduced Saturday hours

The director where I work announced today she is retiring on Halloween.

Last month I bumped into a lady at the outdoor gym who said she could do the leg-pusher with one leg.
I couldn't at the time, but this month I can do five pushes with each leg, & five pulls on the arm-puller with each arm. The arm pusher is still hard but I'm getting better each time

I got a mood ring last week.    I like watching it change colors.

Working on Bakana's Halloween costume. The headpiece is done & looks so good!!! I just want the rest done on time...

I was super broke for my birthday and didn't have a special meal. Today I got some money and had Chinese take out I always get the fried wantons and veggie low mien but I decided to try the egg rolls. They were so good!!! Everything I've ever gotten from there is good. I've had the fried rice and egg foo young before too.

Just watched a clip of Hana-Rawhiti Kareariki Maipi-Clarke performing a Haka in protest of the Aotearoa/New Zealand bill about the Waitangi treaty bill. Absolutely incredible, literally breathtaking how the members of Parliament and the Gallery take part.

I’ve kinda made a friend at work. It’s so difficult for me to make friends. I understand she’s likely a friend by proximity, but I’ll just enjoy it while it lasts.

We have snow again!

We have snow here too Today is my sister's birthday, and she and her partner are both here at the moment, so we spent a lot of this morning out in it (while it was still snowing so most other people weren't around).

Well timed snow is always welcome
