Anyone customized a reboot pony yet?

I want to customize one of the new G4 ponies but I'm afraid to since I haven't seen anyone else do it yet

I rehaired one the other day! They're exactly the same inside as the older play-size G4s, with the glued-in neck plug. I think the neckhole is smaller (as if they weren't small enough already) so dehairing was a pain, but otherwise no real difference.

I had to comment so I could say... when I saw that rehaired Rarity my immediate reaction was to gasp "Oh my *beeping* god she's so cute", that hair colour is gorgeous on her.

at first i thought the reboots were odd looking, but that blue-haired rarity is just precious!

I like her much better with her head off.  I mean, with the new hair!  So sweetly styled, just perfect with that color and the open-mouth excitedness.

Thank you all, I'm glad other people like her! She was an impulse-rehair just to see what the reboot ponies were like, using leftover hair...but she actually came out really cute so I'm glad I decided to experiment.

Tell me human... how doth one style pony hair like that? I must know...

The curls were done with the standard straws and boiling water, and the ponytail/bangs were made by using a different rooting pattern (excuse the quick drawing):

The blue rows were thatched to make the bangs, and then I filled in any bare-looking patches in the middle. It was another experiment that also came out surprisingly well! c: (Though she's still got a couple of holes from the original rooting that were too close to the horn...fortunately the bangs cover them up.)

The rarity looks so good!! I still don't know how I feel about the front bent hoof though.

oh that's right I forgot, some people don't like the impossible swivel elbow in the G4 show.

Just imagine they have a ball joint and it's fine.

I've only seen them in pictures, do they have a shiny type of plastic? That would make them a nightmare to repaint :/
Honestly I don't like them at all personally... But that Rarity rehair!!
