How much can I expect to pay?

How much can I expect to pay for 'night glider' mlp g1? Is this rare?

Actually I'm wondering what I can expect to pay for ponies in general. For the 'normal' once..not rare.

Nightglider is very sought after and is not one of the cheapest ponies. Can't tell you how much it goes for usually though

I think Night Glider tends to go between 20 and 30 dollars, depending on condition.

As for MLPs in general:
Most of the (G1) MLPs I see don't go over $20, and very many of them stay under $10. However, that's a very general statement. Every pony is different. There are plenty of rare or desirable ponies that go far above that. If the pony is in exceptionally nice condition that can make them expensive, too.

You can always post a Price Check thread (PC) here asking what a good price would be for something, and someone will let you know.

I believe Nightglider is going for around $30 at the moment.

As for Mlp in general, you can find ponies for a few dollars if they are very common or need TLC, but it's really impossible to say any kind of average price at it depends completely at what you're looking at and who is selling.

For an extremely general value guide, you may wish to check out Summer Hayes's G1 Collector's Guide (http://smile.amazon.com/The-Little-Pony-Collectors-Inventory/dp/0978606310/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1414524434&sr=8-6&keywords=my+little+pony+guide). If you can't afford to purchase it, you may be able to Interlibrary Loan it from your local library. The prices in the book are not exact, but it can help you know which ponies are more valuable than others.

Price can be all over the place for G1s even for those not considered rare. As low as a couple of $ for common and unpopular ponies to closer to $30-60 for those popular main release ponies.

As for Nightglider, she is a popular and sought after girl. She is also a little prone to age marks so finding her in great condition is hard. In minty condition I agree with $28-30 for her.

I think that is a low price for Nightglider. As of right now I see two for sale on ebay and they have both been bid to $50. One listing does not have "Nightglider" in the name, and that one looks to be in poor condition, too.
