Please show me your MLP animation cells, I'm intrigued!

So in my digging around the older topics, I've come across mention of animation cells that members own, and I would love to see more of them! Are they expensive to buy, and how does one go about finding a genuine cell? ^_^

Van Eaton galleries had some G1 model cels & production cels from Escape from Catrina in early 2013. Otherwise, its mostly tales cels on eBay and the occasional TV commercial cel.

These are the only g1 cels I managed to win in 2013:

They were very expensive. I'd have to look at my records (i'm at the fair so it's not possible atm) but I know the sketch alone cost me over $100. The cels were higher.

I bought them on ebay. The colors are so vibrant and even though the seller told me how to separate the production drawings from the cels, I like how they look with the original drawings. It's great having a little bit of pony history!! There were some that I couldn't bear to give up, but I have some for sale in my etsy shop.

I'd like to own some animation cels, but not from MLP tales, which is what is usually available on Ebay.

The Tales pop up a lot on ebay; if you are looking to buy cells they are the best first ones to pick up. The earlier ones show up very seldom. Its probably due to the different animation studio locations which cause the MLP ones to be so rare.

I love them! Some of them are so colourful and entertaining.

Tales ones are cheap, cels from commercials are relatively cheap usually, the show, and the movie get reallyyyy pricey. Like $400ish or more each time I've seen them.

I've got a giant box full and have some from all the things I just mentioned!

bulleta- Your cells are fantastic! Those are a dream to own with the original painted background.  Thank you for posting the comparison shots; it is really cool to see the side by side!

Wow look at all those! O.O

I would love love love to have one from Escape from Katrina or the Original TV special .... or any of the commercials. Only ones I have ever seen in person are the Tales ones.

I've got about 15 of them at home from the Tales series.  The unfortunate thing I've noticed about them is that they were stored with the pencil drawings and over time they have fused to the paint on the cel.  I'm not sure if all Tales cels are like this, but all the ones I have come across are. 

I'll post pictures of mine when I get back from vacation.

Awl, I've got the drawing that matches this cel of Majesty and Moondancer; it's from the Dream Castle commercial.  Please let me know if you ever want to sell it.
