I watched the old 80's cartoons, when I was little, and use to have the toys to play with.

my favorite sets are the princess ponies, pony friends, big brother, family of 4, glow in the dark, rock n beat ponies etc.....

what can l say, l love them all.

the new series is really cute. however i do not fussy the new toy line. Sigh...

this is a bit of a learning curve and is going to take some time, getting use too.

Welcome to the Arena.   Oh I love the glow n shows, one of my favorite sets.  And I hear you on the new ponies, they do not rock my socks.

It seems people either love or hate the new ponies. I like the stories of the new generation much more than the old (tried watching some on youtube, very painful) but I like the artwork of the first generation much more.

I agree the g4s can grow on you, but I too will always be a fan of g1 as it has all the great childhood memories  ^^
The new toys just don't have the same level of variety or diversity ( where are my seaponies, carousels and twinkle eyes?)
That being said some of the g4 customization artists make of ponies are super cute, and we can hope hasbro decides to be
 inspired by the fans artwork (not just adding stuff like names fans suggest). Then maybe we will see ponies that have more of the elements we used to love (give us ponies with fairy wings! ) =) Anyhow I am just rambling now, WHOOPS! Welcome to the arena!
