I wish I could whistle loud. It would make calling in the horses for food a lot easier lol.

I could back when I was a kid, before I had braces.   Haven't been able to whistle since.

I'm actually quite good at whistling lol. Bird calls, songs, vibrato, the whole shebang haha. BUT, I have never been able to master the loud sharp whistle that can be heard a mile away. I just end up spitting on my fingers hahaha.

I can whistle in an out, tunes, some bird calls... but I can only do what my lips can do. I've never been able to whistle through fingers or teeth. Always wanted to do that loud whistle and startle people ;)

I've never been able to whistle with my lips, no matter what I do. But I can whistle through my teeth and make a sound very similar to a chirping bird. If I do it around caged birds they tend to go silent ("What the heck was THAT?") Once or twice I managed to get my sister's Green Singer finch to mimic the calls I made up, which I thought was impressive, for a bird who frequently talks to his reflection.

I can whistle simple tunes, but not loudly. Sometimes, I whistle things like "Jingle Bells" at Christmas. My mum, on the other hand, can whistle loudly and beautifully. She tried to teach me, but I never really improved very much.

I can certainly whistle, not terribly loud, and almost always songs. Though I'm always annoyed when I find I don't have the range for some song. I'm not sure, but does a couple octaves sound like an average range?

I was taught how to whistle by my kindergarten bus driver, Bark. I can whistle loudly, but not in the "two fingers in the mouth going yoo-hoo" method. Whistling quieter and definiteively on-key is something I need to work on. ;)
My creativity keeps running into a lack of time and resources.
I'm also available via twitter at @Kazzellin :)

So many projects!! What do I want to work on? :awake:

I can whistle loud, but only when I suck air in, I cant do it blowing air out :silly:  go figure, lol ;)

but its great as the ponies know to come over to me in the field when I go to catch them in :D saves me walking thru ankle-deep English mud every day to get them!

When I was little, I couldn't whistle *properly* - I used to to suck in air, rather than blow it out, and get the whistle from the air going in.

Now I's all grown up *LOL* I can actually still whistle on the breathe in, and properly on the blow out, so I can whistle literally non stop. It's less controlled when I'm sucking air in, and more difficult to change the pitch of the note, but if I time my breathing carefully to the tune I'm whistling, I can do quite long tunes without having to pause for breath. I would imagine it's quite annoying for sime people to have to listen to that.........
Thank you *wyvernchick* for my lovely avvie!

Just a weak whistle, but to be specific, I can only whistle in, not out.
