I have no words to say how much I LOVE this girl! I think I'll have to look for a baity one just to rehair her the way you did! Why oh why didn't Hasbro do her like that to start with?

Aww :blush: Thanks Malan - she's looking for a new home if you wanted to save yourself the trouble, hahaha :lol:

As for me, choosing colors - I like to play off the symbol colors, but it can be tough if the symbol is a simple one color. Usually if it is, I try to find a blend of colors, maybe even outside the pony, that look good with one set color - like... Okay Highflyer- symbol is silver. So I picked a few colors I liked the look of while thinking of "purple and silver" which were her major colors. Then I go to my hair box, pick out purple and silver, and start looking for complimentary colors.

Sometimes I don't even look at the pony, I find a color combo I like and then find the pony to fit it. Sometimes ponies look amazing with completely unrelated colors. I always try to find new ways to think outside the box on rehairing a pony, but I am a "matchy-matchy" person by nature, lol! :biggrin:

Hi ladies, I have a NSS Buttons on ebay with hair issues if anyone is interested. Still very low...
Edit: Also Wind Whistler would also be a good rehairing candidate - has had a tail trim and hair is faded. She is otherwise very minty and soft. Kind of wish I'd kept her for a project now  :lol:

They are fairly common over here, so is NSS Wind Whistler. I could have had armies of both by now.  I've been chatting to the girl who's got the high bid at the moment and I think she's going to love her just as she is tbh even though I had to de-washer and de-rust her, soak her in vanish oxy action and glue up a split tail hole. Like A LOT of love, she loves ponies and she's only just discovered ebay and she's super excited. I do hope she pays  ^.^

Yeah I don't have the common NSS ponies for the UK, I don't think... I have Magic Star and North Star, maybe Shady... but Buttons I've been searching for both versions FOREVER and Wind Whistler is the same. I've had tons of deflocked Wind Whistlers... but I want the UK version! :drunk:
