I love Lucky as a name! What an amazing find. She is not in any publicity material in this pose or colour - I have even checked the Hasbro UK an US toy catalogues as well for the relevant years just in case I was forgetting. Can I ask - it was a UK based auction wasn't it? I remember spotting it. Have you asked the seller if they were childhood ponies?Weirdly there was never a MGR pony released in this pose in the UK - we did not get Diamond Dreams or Sparkler. So that points to her being something truly weird and wonderful if she was from a childhood collection on this side of the pond.
Quote from: ashes on July 26, 2013, 05:57:13 PMHow awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. It makes me wonder if there are other variants. Like perhaps Diamond Dream's colors on Sparkler? That would be cool if there was a whole set with the swapped coloring. ashes, it would be awesome if there was!! I have this pony in the window right now trying to sunfade.. anyone know how long sunfading takes? are we talking weeks, months.. years?

I asked the seller, she said she bought her from a car boot sale some time ago along with the other ponies she sold in the two lots..
