limekoko Non paying ebay buyer!

Another deadbeat ebayer!  Be sure and add limekoko to your blocked lists.  According the the feedback that keeps rolling in for her, she has bid on several Vintage Strawberry Shortcake Auctions, some to the tune of $100 plus, and hasn't paid for any of them.  Sadly, one of those was mine, but thankfully, it was just for $2.00.  I hate these waste of time buyers! >:C

Looks like this is more a scam than just a nonpaying bidder.  This person is only bidding on vintage Strawberry Shortcake stuff, usually in the last few seconds.  They run the price up, and then never pay.  When you google the address on paypal, it's for a closed restaurant.    I really wish I was able to leave negative feedback for this crazy person. Everyone else is leaving postive feedback stating they're nonpaying and a scammer ect. but unless you actually READ the feedback, it just looks they they have all positive!

How is it a scam? They don't pay, they don't get anything. And I really hope the bidder doesn't report those sellers for leaving false positives. :/

Well, it happened again.  >  I ended up relisting the item, at the last minute a new member with zero feedback came in, ran the price up, and now just two days after the auction ended, the ID is no longer registered on ebay.  ClosetAvalanche, there is an entire thread on this in ebay's doll forum.  It's the same person who keeps doing it, just under new id's. They're buying as many auctions as they can from multiple, unrelated sellers in only this category and then not paying.  It's auction interference.

In addition to the limekoko, you can add chillypj, pinksnowcherry, and jusdeeliteful.

Wow.... reading the doll forums this has been going on for well over a year with this person in the SSC category. The same person (with different accounts) puts in an insanely high bid and doesn't pay. If you block one account, or delete a bid they bid with another account. So, this bidder is either trying to keep competing sellers items in NPB disputes so their own stuff sells, or they're just trolling because they have something against SSC sellers? Reading the various threads about this I'm simply appalled ebay doesn't have the means (or cares) to block all their id's.

Looks like BIN with instant payment required would be the way to go when listing any SSC items on ebay.

My guess is they're doing it because you have to wait 4 days to open a case on a nonpaying bidder, then another four days to go in and close it to get your final fees back.  So that's 8 days for them to list and sell their own SSC stuff with no competition.  I ended up opening a nonpaying bidder case, because the bidder is no longer registered.  eBay immediately closed it and refunded my fees.  I just sent a second chance offer to the real bidder.  I don't want to mess with this again.  I feel bad for the sellers who have been dealing with this headache for over a year.

Exactly. This person's been up to it for well over a year too and only interfering with items in the SSC category. Other ebay sellers have had no problems after only listing SSC items BIN with instant payment required.    This one has been doing it to so many people, for so long, I still say I'm shocked ebay can't track her down and boot her from the site.
Hopefully your sales more smoothly from here on out.

That's terrible that they can get away with it too, sigh, hope the get completely removed by ebay altogether including alternate names and addresses, it's just wrong, and using a closed restaurant as your address? Just plain dumb. Gr. How annoying for you!

Ebay should do their job and step in.  There's no reason sellers should have to put up with this person. 
Steps ebay could do to prevent this is to not except invalid addresses.  Ebay should require a valid confirmed address and that would help weed out bs buyers.

But of course Ebay won't do anything...
