Re-scalping CAMs?

Anyone have any ideas for which doll heads would make a good transplant for those CAM scalps that can't be re-haired?
 I removed the hard bit, thinking there should be a way to "fix" her head so I can hair it
If I figure something out will be sure to post a WIP, doing my first actual testing phase at the moment

Was thinking wig caps or liquid latex would be a temp fix or just takign a donor scalp to frankie-stein it...ehehe
Any thoughts or people who tried out something similar? Love to see results/lack thereof

I believe someone here used vinyl from dogs squeaky toys to patch it., so no need to trash a perfectly good doll.
Another person just drilled holes through the hard head cap to hair it.

bluechaos- Squeaky dog toys is BRILLIANT!!!
Initially I tried jamming the rerooting  tool (sharp end) tool in and it makes a hole but it was awful on the tool and my hand LOL.
She is currently sporting a removable piece of head inside her hair which would make a rad custom
... if I were to sculpt a brain but not really where I wanted to go with it on this one haha.
LOL...squeaky toy section of walgreens is SO gonna get raided now thank you...will post results later

That was me with the squeaky toy.  I  would post pics but we are moving and everything is packed   It does work, it is possible!
