What is the easiest way for someone to learn about dolls? Like, all the different variety out there and who makes what, and whats what?  Everytime I try to learn about dolls, itseems like so much overwhelming info so I just stick with ponies that I can organize and know well, you know?  Anyone wanna teach me? lol

If it's BJDs you're interested in, Den Of Angels is a good way to start, they have a great Wiki that covers all the major makers. It's invite only atm, but people here are normally more than willing to send you an invite.

Skyrocketneko, your Chloe is gorgeous!! I'm so new to the hobby that there aren't a lot of sculpts I'm too familiar with, but the Feeple65 Chloe is one of my favorite female sculpts so far. Congrats on your new girl!

Wong and the Mokonas got their faces painted in today, yay! Not that it was very time-consuming or that there was a lot to do, though

The name "Magic" keeps sticking to the Wong, so that just may be his official name. And I guess it's a "he"...it just doesn't look like a girl to me.

Well, the blue/yellow wig is actually a blue/green/yellow/pink/purle wig XP (but the pic doesn't show all the colors).
It was a limited edition I got from Taobao, but can't rebember the seller.

The black/brown wig is actually a light brown/dark brown wig. I got it from www.formydoll.com/ .
(I did cut/restyled it a bit to make it fit my girl better).

And the last time I checked, www.crobidolls.com also had some colorful wigs with two or more colors in it. ^^

So YOU bought that dress! I was totally eyeing it

I brought Willow to the butterfly conservatory with me this weekend to meet a bunch of other dolls. None of the butterflies went anywhere near the dolls (probably the smell of the resin chasing them off) but, there was some nice scenery and Willow met a boy! They had sort of an impromptu date, haha. His owner likes to take "date" photos of her doll with allll the girls. His name is Spencer, isn't he cute? But, alas, Willow's heart truly belongs to another....
