Trap - 7/10. I am a loud and proud unashamed Shyamalan fan. I have all his movies on DVD and watch them regularly. I even like The Happening. That said, this did not feel like a Shyamalan film. It had some twists and turns but usually his "twists" aren't what most people think they are and his movies always have a deeper meaning. Trap didn't have that. It was left open for a sequel though, so maybe the story isn't finished. Josh Hartnett was great.

This post is fine here, no worries.

This can be complicated. Your mom probably means well, but her talking to your boss might backfire. It could be that your boss really has no option to give you more hours, or she could be just saying that. I don't know if there's a way you could find out.

It's good you are looking at other places :)

For the time being, I would ask your mom not to interfere and continue to do what you can at the thrift store while looking elsewhere for the season. You don't want things to get weird between you and your boss and for now it's the only job you have.

I looked to see if I could get Breath of Fire 4 for PS1 and was shocked to see the prices, over $100 for most listed. I was watching one that started at 9.99 and it ended at $123. This was on eBay.

I do have it digitally on my PS3 but I have the rest in physical form including 1 & 2 which are on the Super Nintendo. I'd like to add a copy of 4 to the collection but I guess I have to get lucky and find one out in the wild.

Had a craving for chili, just got everything delivered :D I'll make it tomorrow. No meat, just beans, tomato, onion with cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top!

I love the colder weather but it's making me hurt. My joints are awful especially my knees. And despite the weather my allergies and sinuses have been so bad. I had to take a Benadryl yesterday and they totally knock me out and make me groggy for a long time. Aster has had leaky eyes and sneezing too.

My neck is still bothering me plus I'm getting pins and needles on the left side of my head. Several years ago I had an ongoing headache for 7 days and finally went to the ER. There was some nerve in my shoulder that goes up through the scalp that was irritated and they gave me a shot that helped. I wonder if this is the same kind of thing? I still have no insurance so I can't see a doctor.

When I first moved to Florida I volunteered at a wildlife rescue. It was something I'd always wanted to do and I just went there and asked. They had me fill out an application and that was that :)

You should ask yourself what kind of work you'd like to do. But also know that depending on what it is, you'll start at the bottom. Like, with animal stuff. You have to work your way to actually interacting and taking care of the animals. When I first started, I was cleaning and tidying up the intake building and gift shop.

Once you decide what type of work, then I would look for local places online and see if they have an opening. Then go there in person to check it out.

I've always gravitated toward animal welfare and I know shelters are always looking for dog walkers and people to help clean. I'd recommend a no-kill shelter though if you want to go that route.

I think using a q-tip and rubbing alcohol would work just fine :)

How do the eyes themselves look? Any mold inside them?

It looks pretty localized to me, so I don't know if opening her up is necessary.

Another cold front came though. It's a little colder than I would like but it's certainly better than being too warm. It's dry too, which is nice.
