I really like the fashion style sea ponies and their sparkly eyes, but I'm afraid they won't make the whole mane 6  Knowing me I'll probably pick up the 3 ones that are out and hope the other 4 get made eventually. I do like the 3inch sea ponies, but the inset eyes are way cooler.

Pony Corral / Re: What are your thoughts on G4.5 ponies?

I like some, but really don't like others...Celestia looks cool but Cadence is so bad. I mostly like the new poses but the heads are a bit odd

Those vectors scare me.  Remember when pony packaging made them look cute?
The Pinkie and Twilight art seem especially creepy to me
I hate that Luna uses Cadence's head...but I might get her just because I love Luna

So I finished two pony hoards these past two weeks. I re-painted most of my Rick and Morty ponies and added several more  ^^; I don't know why I tend to work on so many projects at once but I guess it's fun in some weird way for me?

I really know nothing about ponies before G4 but Toola Roola just looks too cute and I'd love to see her return

Pony Corral / Re: What classifies something as an "Army"?
« on: March 02, 2017, 04:24:28 PM »
hmmm....I tend to say I have several armies, consisting of multiple versions of the same character. I collect Loki action figures/collectibles and have quite a few, enough to take up their own shelf. I'd say for an army at least 5 for a small army or the start of one? Heck I could just say I have a doll army in general since I have so many, or more specifically I have two pony armies, muffin pony and Luna armies as I collect every version of those two I can get my hands on

Funko had no new pony products to show. Funrise is not making more plushies but is working on other pony products that weren't available for showing.
Isn't it because Hasbro didn't renew their contracts because they want to be making more of their own pony stuff or something along those lines?

Hasn't ruined my brushes, I also wash them right away after using anything

I have always used Mod Podge and it works fine for me, haven't seen any yellowing or felt any gross stickiness, as far as melting I've never heard of that happening but I guess I could see that if exposed to extreme temperatures?

What if I used those weirdly articulated "explore equestria" ponies? On hasbrotoyshop they are about 3.99 each and the odd articulation is a bit puppet-ish...even if they are the same size as the regular G4 ponies

That could work.  In Lazytown, wasn't the main character a human girl who was supposed to be the same age as the puppet kids?  So maybe having the puppety feel would be enough to differentiate.  Too bad they didn't do jointed CMCs.  Those would be perfect.
the only thing about the CMC is that they might look fat compared to the new reboot brushables, but they ARE supposed to be fatter..i guess.
That's pretty much my thoughts! Just hesitant since I asked one friend and they literally said it was a stupid idea so I thought to use an alternative, but I really am leaning towards the articulated ones...

perhaps the filly ponies (cutie mark crusaders), I'm not sure how they compare to the reboots tho.
Yeah I think they would be my best bet, just finding 2 of each for a good price could be problematic...well time to scour the internet for good prices

Customs / Possibly dumb question
« on: February 13, 2017, 11:12:28 AM »
So I'm making some customs, and I'm using the reboot g4 ponies. That's all fine and dandy, but I realized for the others I want to do I need to find some ponies that are smaller than them. As dumb as it may sound, I'm making Lazytown ponies. I need to know what possible smaller ponies I could try to find to make the puppet children...I thought blindbag ponies could work, and I might do that, but I'd rather be able to re-root them *shrug* any suggestions? I don't care what generation they're from, I just need to know what small and affordable ponies to try to find

I want to customize one of the new G4 ponies but I'm afraid to since I haven't seen anyone else do it yet  ^^;
