She's so cute!! are you planning on replacing the stained part of her tail, or are you just gonna try to clean it? Sorry if this question comes across as rude, i only ask because i have a few ponies that need tail rust help too.

Hi all!
So after years and years waiting, I finally have a Wacom tablet!
I'm still adjusting to drawing with it in Photoshop CS2 (hoo boy talk about a learning curve!) and I'm having a blast with it! Having the ability to erase and change colors at the blink of eye is wonderful!
I am curious what everyone's preferred methods for coloring and painting are? I've been experimenting with the technique here http://www.melissaevans.com/tutorials/colouring-line-art and so far I like it. I haven't gotten to shading yet which is the part I'm really dreading because I suck at that no matter what medium I use.
shading can be very tricky, so don't feel bad if it takes a long time to get used to it! The important thing is to practice, think really hard about where your light source is coming from, and to NOT use white/black to shade. Shade with different hues/tones of the base color, as well as other colors, especially if the shadows/lights are more intense. Be patient, and take your time! Be sure to look up lots of tutorials as well.

I just use Dawn dish soap and warm water on her body and nail polish remover for the stubborn spots and I used fabric softener on her hair
MimicMLP
Wow, that's not half as involved as I thought, haha Thanks!

Wow! Nice work on that restoration! She's like a whole new pony! Just out of curiosity, what was your main method for removing all that dirt? Magic erasers/oxiclean etc I ask because I have a few ponies with embedded dirt like that and I'd love to get them nice and shiny again.

They should be here on Saturday, I'm hoping that what that really means is "Thursday or Friday" I haven't seen any delivery trucks yet though....I hope they didn't mean next Saturday. I don't know if I can wait that long!

I have very recently acquired five new ponies on ebay! Twinklehope is one of them, and in mint condition from what I could see, too! A couple of the others in the lot have hair chops, but nothing super major. They'll display just fine. I'm very proud of myself because I literally only won the bid because of a few seconds. Very tense, but worth it! I'll post pics as soon as they arrive! EDIT: Here they are! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSorry these pictures are so poor, I have a really cheap phone

I recently bought this Peachy figure. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Was she a keychain? I'm currently waiting for a Firefly keychain that looks similar to this Peachy. Are there any more of them? Are they common or hard to find? Please show me pics if you have any!
I don't know how rare these are (I'd say uncommon at least) but I'm faiirrllyy certain these are part of a mailorder charm lineup? I know there's more, but I'm not sure how many. Wish I had more info for you. :/

Ohh! He also said the expressive nature of my simple drawing's lines were lacking. I have an idea of what this means. Like it goes back to the whole lacking style and appeal thing. I don't know how to handle that, either.
I think what he might mean is that you should try experimenting with different sketching/lineart techniques! Try drawing by moving your entire hand in big, sweeping motions, with little squiggles, heavy strokes, light strokes etc It doesn't have to look good, but there are many different ways to make simple lines. Try a few and experiment!

I'm a new user, and I look forward to meeting all of you! I've been collecting ponies since I was about seven years old, and I still have the first ones I ever got, which were Ocean dreamer and Summer Shores. Sadly, I was not careful with their accessories... My collection isn't very big, but I've always been very into all the different aspects that come with being a collector! I'm an artist, and I collect Monster high dolls and littlest pet shop as well. I usually dig ponies with unusual markings or colors, so variants and ponies from different countries are very interesting to me. See you all on the forums!
