One time a pony made a rattling sound, then it stoped.  Maybe that was glue? Anyways, I don't think I want to start taking their heads of. I have no idea how to fix a pony. And I don't want to ruin them.  I'm really impressed how good people are with their ponies. Cleaning them, fixing the cut hair and even some customs. I'm not there yet, and I'm not sure I'll ever be.    What can happen if I don't clean up the rust? 

What does Pat pend. really mean? 

Also, I've got a Cotton candy now, but how do I know the difference between cotton candy and cotton candy II. Is it by the year written on her hoof?
Also is there a difference between these two in value? Like the first is more valuable or is it just the same?
And why did they make two of the same anyway?

I've also got a version of Lemondrop. But how many different versions of her is there. On my lemondrops hoof it says 82, pat pend and macau, but on one hoof it looks like someone have tried to hide 'hong kong'. Because I think I see the letters 'ong'. Have someone made her into a 'nirvana' then?  Her drops are a bit red-brownish and are all smudged.

Also, is there a good list, hopefully with pictures that I can print and put in my 'pony bible' (the my little pony G1 collector's inventory) with all european/UK ponies? I really love my pony book, but I'm really disappointed that most of the ponies from when I was a child isn't in it. I went to strawberryreef and printed out the 'G1 - United Kingdom' list. But I still miss some ponies.

Oh, almost forgot. When I can hear a noise from inside the pony, what's that? A rattling noise..

1) How can you tell if the hair on a pony have been rehaired or not? I mean if the color is similar or the same as the original? How can you tell just from looking at a picture?
I see some ponies have a bit more matt hair than others and you can just tell it's old. Some have super shiny hair looks brand new.

2) Also the so soft ponies..when people have deflocked(?) them, how can you know which one used to have flock and not? Is the symbol on the so soft ponies only on so soft ponies. I thought I'd seen the same ponies with and whitout flock..
Do people like deflocked ponies better?

3) Last but not least.. What ponies are rare or sought after? Does this change? Or is a pony that people loved 5 years ago still the one people want today? I know the TAF babies are popular and mimic... and the Nirvana ponies, although I'm not sure which ones which. I don't know if I even know about all the ponies that exist. Ponies that I see people sell a lot and all the time.. I know those aren't as popular.. Some series/families that are popular.
