She's beautiful, Moonbreeze! Great job!

Seeing the in-hand pics on insta and ebay makes me want her more. I like how they styled the back of the packaging to look like a tower of the Dream Castle. ^.^ (But why is there blue sky and a field behind Majesty instead of the castle interior? Some magic mirror shenanigans going on there...)

Her current mark-up puts her out of my reach, but hopefully she'll come down a bit post-SDCC. She's definitely 20 dollars worth of pretty (IMO) but not $60-80. :P

The pony in question, in case you need a reference like I do ^^; --

(Looks like he actually has three colors in his hair to me: a red-orange base, lighter orange highlights, and darker red lowlights.)

Hmm... For two colors, I'd probably use Firebird and Sunset personally, but that's not a poll option. It would look something like this --

Nectarine + Peaches and Cream would also look good if you want a lighter and less fluorescent combo. :)

Well, I think mine is the lighter kind, but now I'm not sure. People have said that the dark blue Bow Tie is like Nachtlicht's color, which I would imagine is a significantly darker shade than the one I have, but I don't have a Nachtlicht to compare to. :shrug:

Here's a picture of my "light" retro Bow Tie for comparison. Her body color is almost the same shade as the word "Classic" on her packaging.

She's still quite a bit darker than even a "dark blue" vintage Bow Tie. :lol:

I'm not sure what that is. :blink:

If it's surface-level, maybe a scrub with Magic Eraser could help. A Magic Eraser soaked with rubbing alcohol can remove a lot of grime, although of course you need to be careful around her glitter, and it won't help with any deep-set staining. Good luck!

(p.s. Her name is Sparkler. ;))

Thanks guys :heart: Basic Fun needs to make about 20 more, then I can fully barricade the door! :lol:

My Targets have been restocking the Rainbow assortment with the 1st wave again, both scented and not. (I wish they'd restock the Classics with the unipegs instead. I really don't need more temptation to buy an extra Windy. :P) I'm trying not to read too much into it, but I hope it's a sign that the new 2nd wave rainbows with the unicorns is around the corner...

Has anyone completed the Basic Fun collection yet? (That is, as many as they've made so far...?)

If so, can someone post a photo of the complete collection of ponies including ST Applejack? I just really want to see 'em all together!

I think chibiskittles posted a picture of her complete retro collection on instagram, but that was a few months ago before ST AJ made her debut.

I do have one of each so far (to my chagrin) but like Sunset, they're not arranged into one Wall Of Pony that could be photographed easily. ^^;

Do you think anyone out there has really gone nuts and collected all the little variations too? I would love to see a "dark" Bow Tie next to a regular retro Bow Tie. The one I have is much darker than my vintage Bow Ties, but not like shockingly dark, so I don't know which one she is supposed to be.

ETA: Ok, I couldn't resist. ^.^ Sorry for the bad lighting, but there aren't a lot of spots in my house where I could stage this.

Peachy didn't make it into the photo, oops! :blush:

I wonder why there weren't any kids on it?

Judging by the dude welding in the background, I don't think the Sinorides warehouse is a great environment for kids to play around in. ^^;

A stretch alicorn is the pinnacle of luxury rides. :cool:

Unusual that there are like three Applejacks, but Pinkie Pie didn't make the cut at all. I guess that's how you can tell for sure that there was no Hasbro involvement. :lol:

My nearest Target is 70ish miles away, I'd spend that much or more on gas just getting there and back. That and I don't mind spending a bit more on convenience.

Wow. I guess that's understandable. If she's worth the $20 cost to you, let me know. I'm gonna continue picking them up for people as long as I still have extra boxes and patience. ^^;

Aaaand I've finally run out of spare boxes! :lol: It was a good run while it lasted.

You could get the Morliden doors for the Billy (instead of the usual Oxberg) and simply not put an insert behind the glass. Morlidens are sort of notoriously fiddly to hang though, so maybe not the best idea if you don't have a handy friend to help.

The Detolf cabinet is the typical all-glass option I see people use for collectibles.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but there are four (or more?) "Alitas" wingers from Argentina.

Wonder how many they have at that target... Would you mind looking for a 3rd? Thanks
Most Targets got an initial shipping of six. How many after that who knows.

I have several Targets in my area, and they're starting to get their second shipments in, so no worries there. :) However, if you're in the US, it's probably more economical for you to go to your own nearest Target to get her -- even domestic shipping would be like $9 for her MIB.

I don't know what to think of her. The skates are a little ridiculous, but regular Melody doesn't have that lovely yellow stripe in her mane...
