Pony Corral / Re: Show me your MLP erasers
« on: September 18, 2012, 03:19:18 AM »
I've heard of these! But the ones i'm really after are the erasers that are actually shaped and sculpted like the pony in question.  Up til now i've only seen a couple on eBay and missed out on them by minutes :( but lemon treats is a rare one to have on any merch! Lovely ^.^

Pony Corral / New Project, your opinions?
« on: September 17, 2012, 08:57:08 AM »
Hello every pony :)
I'm currently thinking of a creative project to get my artistic juices flowing but I wondered if i could get some of you guys to answer this poll for me! This will help me decide which characters are most popular out of the G1s. I'd be very grateful for your voting! Thanks a bunch ^.^ (due to there being hundreds of G1s im going to just give the option of a few for now, so out of the list who would be your fav?)

Yeah that is a tad annoying. However I find the 'rare' tag is the most annoying! Then charging way too much for a common pony. I personally love sellers who don't know anything because that's when you get ponies for cheap! Example: went to carboot and found G1 majesty. Pulled her out and asked the girl how much? 10p. LOL! Granted she didn't have a tail but still! 10pence!!

Pony Corral / Posey variations?
« on: July 31, 2012, 06:53:52 AM »
Hello ponies ^.^
Just wondering if there was ever a Posey that actually had white hair and white flowers on her symbol? I've recently acquired a Posey with lovely original pink hair and pink flowers, but my older version has white. I'm guessing its just sun faded but because i can't see a hint of colour in the white hair, i was wondering if she ever did have a variation?

Customs / New tail?

Hello everyone ^.^
Not sure if this is the right forum for this post and theres probably a tutorial for it, but if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great!
Anyway, i wanted to take one tail out of a G1 majesty and insert it into one i bought recently that has better body and head. How do i go about this? Thankyou ^.^

Pony Corral / Re: Does it make you mad when you see...?

I do agree with this in the sense of common ponies. In good condition, is pay $5-6 for a comnon. But I see these nirvanas and some go up to $800 and more! Isnt -that- a tad too much to pay for a toy pony, granted they are very rare. With $800 I could go abroad or buy more important stuff hah. I do think some eBay sellers are kidding themselves with charging what they do, but I must admit, a large percent of my ponies come from there.
When it comes to thrift/charity shops I haven't found one G1 where i live! I've found a couple at car boot sales. My pride story is buying Baby Billie in nm condition for 20p! Mwhaaha.

Pony Corral / Re: MIB vs Loose!

I'd never buy MIB unless it was an insanely good deal on something rare or special. I love to touch, smell and pose and rearrange them, and clean new ones when they come to their new home, it's like a bonding session!
Yeeess this!!!

Off Topic / Re: Soooo.....

Wow, did not expect these responses and so in depth! I was at first like 'seriously what's the difference between this and porn' but I'm reading the first one and initially liked the characters intereacting and I have no problem with thegraphic content either, but I don't agree with glamourizing abuse of any kind. But I guess my ultimate point is, why the hell didn't I think of writing a kinky novel and get rich off it? LOL. It seems, despite being quite repeatitive and badly written, its -still- making her dollar! Why is this , if so many folk are adverse to its contents? Thoughts? Perhaps its human nature to be curious about the darker subjects in life?

If inside manage to get MOC ponies I would also prefer to have a loose version aswell! I don't think I'd last without opening her and setting her freee. :-) its lovely to hear a lot of you Like freed ponies though!

Pony Corral / Re: Thoughts on keeping track of your collection
« on: July 19, 2012, 06:34:44 PM »
I always take a picture of the pony as soon as I get it and transfer it to my pony album on my hard drive. Then it's easy to keep track, imo. :)
I do exactly the same thing but I usually just take pics of there symbols so it doesn't take up much room on my pc, but you can tell instantly who it is!

Pony Corral / MIB vs Loose!
« on: July 19, 2012, 06:09:25 AM »
I was thinking, whilst sending a PM to a fellow trader, what is better? Mint In Box ponies or Loose ponies??
The only thing i have MIB at the moment is a set of Ponytail Petite Ponies. (mostly because I can't afford the price of MIB/MOC stuff lol)....
Don't get me wrong, I think its amazing that some ponies from the 80s have surivived all those years and are still comfy and cosy in their original packaging. But....I also think its a little sad that that toy never got a chance to fulfill it's purpose! To be played with ^.^ If the value of MLP as an investment is high up your street, then yes, it's a sure thing to collect MIBs - you could get rich off them suckers! :P - but I personally prefer the loose ponies. I wouldn't turn down a MIB if i could get my hands on one, however, the fact that that particular pony has been adored and loved, and played with at some point makes me feel happy. And I like to think that when the ponies come to me and join my herd, so to speak, they are heading into a comfortable retirement! haha! ^.^
What about you guys?
