... one day, you woke up in the morning to find that your ponies are alive?

That's right - your ponies are living! They're still small and plastic, but they're running around, flying if they've got wings, talking to each other, etc. - and they're talking to you!

What do you do?

I would ask the ponies I got secondhand what their lives were like before I bought them. I've always been curious as to who owned my G1s before I did, if they were played with, if they've gone on any "adventures" with kids, stuff like that. :lovey:

... and then I would warn Firefly to not get herself in any trouble before I leave for school and make sure they won't leave my room  :silly:

 Maybe I am, but anyway, I was curious and thought: What does the Arena think of Furbys?

I have a small collection of about 6 Furbys, and I was wondering if anyone else collected (or maybe just owned) Furbys. All of my Furbys are V1 ('90s) Furbys, but they did release some newer Furbys in about 2005.


 Are they scary? Cute? Furbyish? What do you think? ^^ let's start a Furby discussion!

Edit: Shoot, does this belong in the Dollhouse? If it does, can someone move it there for me? Sorry!

Have you gotten ponies in ways other than having them given to you or buying them?

I have some FurReal Friends toys that I don't play with any more, and my friend really wants them. She works at a local thrift store, so I'm giving her the FurReal Friends and in exchange she's going to buy ponies that show up at work and give them to me! :D

I'd love to hear if anyone else got ponies through weird things like this xD

Pony Corral / Is this fakie worth anything?

My mother picked up a fakie for me at Goodwill today. It looks like this:

It has matted hair, no accessories, it is dirty and the head is so loose that it flops around when the pony is shaken. There are no marks on its hooves besides "MADE IN CHINA".

Anyway, I wanted to customize this pony, but I thought I should double-check and make sure it's okay first. ^^;

I have a friend on another website that wanted me to post here, they have some G3s and G1s that they wanted to customize. But they weren't sure about whether the ponies were "okay" to customize or not.

The ponies are:

G3:
Star Swirl
Goodie Goodie
Scooter Sprite
Lolligiggle
Skywishes
Desert Blossom

G1:
Glory
Seashell (they said this Seashell has no tail and a loose head).

Can anyone tell us which ponies will be okay to customize and which aren't? Thanks ^^

When I first joined here, I remembered reading things such as "ponies multiply! you start with one, and then you have 20, and then.."

I thought "nah, that'll never happen to me." Because I had a strict list of ponies, and these were the ONLY ponies I was getting.

Yeah, i was wrong.  :P

you guys were right, they DO multiply. Jeeeez! xD tell me I'm not the only one who was like that at first?

Not your grail, but that one super amazing pony that you would be all over... if it existed! It could be anything, from background ponies in FiM to some sort of wicked dragon pony! If you could make any kind of pony toy, what would you make?

For me, my dream would be a set of two ponies: the Flim-Flam brothers! Complete with their cute little vests and straw hats. I love those jerks. x333

I am also a 1990's Furby collector, if you have any of these Furbys I would love to buy them from you! I would like them in working condition, though. ^^;

Ladybug - adult Furby that is red with black hair and black spots, easily recognizable as a ladybug
Tart Tangerine - adult Furby that is black with red-orange stomach and hair
Juicy Grape - adult Furby that is black with pink-purple stomach and hair
Banana Skin / Banana Peel - adult Furby that is gray/silver with yellow stomach and hair - I would prefer if this Furby had the SHINY SILVER eyes, please!!
Red Wolf - adult Furby that has smoky red/gray/black fur, with black paws and a gray tummy
Rooster - adult Furby that has red fur, with orange tummy and paws
Checkered Flag/Nascar/Racing Furby - adult Furby that has black fur, with a checkered flag pattern on his tummy

Also: If anyone in the US happens to have a German-speaking Furby, I would love to buy it from you no matter what fur pattern it has. :)

If we were supposed to re-introduce ourselves, then I suppose I should too. ^^;

I am OctoberFlash, age 14! I have a small collection and I customize. I have a lot of fun with it, too! I watch MLP:FiM. I live in southern Illinois, really close to St. Louis, Missouri. Besides ponies, I also love video games, drawing, writing, and watching TV. ^^
