I have Billy with the glass doors. Negatives with glass doors is that you cannot distribute the shelves with an even amount of space between them. The hinges screw into the little holes the shelf supports go in. This troubles me. I wanted a perfectly lined up, symmetrical display. The billy is also the width of 5 and a half G3 boxes. I see this as an incredible waste of space as if they took 6 I would not have to have ponies on top of the cupboard gathering dust. These observations aside, the white is perfect against all the colour. Not only do they come with styrofoam, the screws come in long boxes, also perfect for making risers. Another thing with the doors, they are sprung loaded. My Staffy can swing her bum against the door and help herself. Spanish Confetti died a horrible death this way. Please show us when you get set up. I love looking at pony rooms.

I am tempted to use one of those houses as a dog kennel...

I also put those silica anti humidity pillows inside any pony that was treated for mold as it keeps it from regrowing.
Are these the things you get in purses etc? I wonder if they help at all when it comes to those sticky twinkle eyes.

Thanks for the advice. Modge podge is what most people use to seal their ponies right? I was planning to do a full body glitter and really don't want it sticky. For symbols I have some 'dries clear' glue/sealer which I sprinkle the glitter onto when wet then use as a sealant after. Perfect. For a full body I wanted something better.

I am making a metallic glitter custom. Which is the best Modge podge to use, matte or gloss?
Also, does anyone have any examples of what gold/silver/sparkle look like when used? Doesn't have to be ponies.

I am taking offers on these two and last time I sold a Spanish TE was about 4 years ago. How much are they worth? The one on ebay recently had a hair cut and I think I remember seeing them around the $300 mark a few months ago. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Thanks for that. I think that's what I meant. I just don't want to send off a parcel full of stuff to have the charges reversed on me.

Thanks for reading. I am thinking of doing a larger transaction with a buyer who has no feedback. If they send it as a gift payment is it still possible to get a chargeback? (Hope that is the right term!)

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am going to explore other finance options first. The more I look at them the more they shout 'Nooo! Keep me!' A pony meet is always good anyway. I'll post again when decisions are made.

I am in Downham Market, just a few miles outside Kings Lynn. I am hoping to open a dog business, hydrotherapy and daycare, possibly grooming. I have a business plan and would like to get started in the Summer. I guess the meet would be in February half term or over the Easter holidays.
The reason I am considering this option is because I don't want to start selling, sell 20 of my favourites and then regret it. Online sales are slow so this is more likely!
Who has experience of selling MIB G3? What is the best way to do it? Full sets, 20 in one go, singles?

Evening ponies,
I am thinking of holding a pony meet in 2013. The main focus of this day/weekend would be for you to raid my pony collection before it goes on sale to the general public. As much as I love my collection I really, really hate my job and hope to start up my own business. Of course I have no savings, only piles of brightly coloured plastic.
Would there be any interest in this type of thing? Of course we could mix it with food, alcohol and pony events. Stuff that I held onto in the great university fund raiser 4+ years ago will be up for sale as this time it really has to be an all or nothing sale. I have a lot of G3 MIB, Nirvanas, MIP G1s and much, much more- 6 large ikea billy bookcases crammed with stuff. I would take up about 5 stalls at the ponycon and would never be able to transport it there.
Anyway, please post if you might be interested. If it is a probably then I will think about dates and stuff.
