I agree the g4s can grow on you, but I too will always be a fan of g1 as it has all the great childhood memories ^^ The new toys just don't have the same level of variety or diversity ( where are my seaponies, carousels and twinkle eyes?) That being said some of the g4 customization artists make of ponies are super cute, and we can hope hasbro decides to be inspired by the fans artwork (not just adding stuff like names fans suggest). Then maybe we will see ponies that have more of the elements we used to love (give us ponies with fairy wings! ) =) Anyhow I am just rambling now, WHOOPS! Welcome to the arena!

Nice to meet you. I love customs but I agree on the fact I rather see a pony rejuvenated if it can be Hope you are enjoying the arena so far and hope you find lots of new herd members here Would love to see your art, definitely post it here if you feel comfortable sharing!

I've tried decals and ended up regretting it. They slide around, look messy, etc. The few I did get to stick- felt like cheating. I agree if you sell them to state you use decals. I wouldn't say you can't...but I don't know that they are any easier, either xD

I would personally say if you haved tried mylittlecustoms you are missing out. She has oodles of tinsel and pretty colors and the hanks are big! http://www.mylittlecustoms.comThey have a lot of the same colors as dollyhair and after a certain size order believe there is free shipping I know the kanekalon is pretty nice too. Other then that you might try hair salons for kanekalon if you don't mind coarse hair but it tends to only come in "natural " colors ( brown, dark red, blonde and black) but if you are styling it heavily doesn't make much difference appearance wise. I myself use a ton of yarn as hair too so if you need any brand commendations let me know

I personally bought a cheap scale off ebay, it cost all of 20 dollars and not sure how but I recall getting free shipping. If you are shipping more then twice a month I'd say: ITS WORTH IT! Especially if you sell on ebay I was told you can put in weight etc and preprint your label and then just drop it off instead of standing in line. I still end up standing in line because I'm paranoid but that's just me, but could be a real timesaver. Especially if you arranged a postal carrier to come get packages ( I believe in the us if you send over a certain number of packages within the country a week regularly you can arrange a pickup day if they are all ready to post...just what I've heard, I haven't ever had that many packages out). Good luck on deciding if you need a scale

Sadly maybe she didn't check in because she didnt know etiquette of lettering your partner know theygot your box? Hopefully its just real life clogging her up and you will get a message one of these days thanking you? I am sad it makes you not want to do private swaps, theres some really great people who I'm sure would be great partners to swap with, I hope you won't give up on swaps!
