Yes, it seems like there are none of these selling right now :(
I have a spare Lightning brush and have no idea what to do with it.

MLP Nirvana / Tail ribbons for German Princess variants?
« on: June 18, 2024, 01:14:07 PM »
Hello

does anybody know if the German Princess variants came with tail ribbons? And if they did, were these the same gold edged ones like the other Princesses came with? I never saw one of the Germans boxed and because their hats have those plain yellow ribbons instead of gold edged ones I am curious.
Thank you :)

Pony Corral / Re: How to clean Sweet Talkin‘ Ponies

I normally do dunk my ponies and let them dry upside down standing on their tail hole for 3 days or so. Normally that works getting all the water out again :)
But with the talking mechanism I am really afraid to destroy it because it still works well after so many years!
Thank you for your advice :)

Pony Corral / How to clean Sweet Talkin‘ Ponies
« on: May 31, 2024, 07:01:20 AM »
Hello everybody

has anyone ever cleaned up a Sweet Talkin‘ Pony with a bath? Normally I give my ponies a bubble bath for their Spa but I have no idea if that is okay with a Talkin Pony? I mean I sure would take out the battery first  and let it dry completely before putting it in back again.
Has anyone ever tried this?
Thank you so much :)

The reason many pink and orange ponies get regrind is because the color red is the least stable. But LBS is right, it can happen to any color pony.

As far as yours goes, they look like transfer marks to me. Or maybe from ponywear.

That makes sense with the red color.
Thank you so much for your suggestion :)

regrind can happen to any color pony , it's how they mixed the vinyl pellets in the first place at the factory

But they were pink marks on a blue pony? Never saw that as regrind before

So I tried this to show a photo.
It‘s definitely not rust.

Oh and in the lot with her was a blue Tassles who also had some of these. I think the regrind thing only happens to kind of pink ponies?

That sounds like regrind to me, or the result of a child with a marker.
I use Imgur to upload my photos and copy the links, then you use the [img/]http://[/img] tool to create the images.

Galaxy‘s and Lady Flutter‘s are regrind I think. But Sweet Clover‘s is definitely different.
I will try that website and try to upload a photo tomorrow :)

The marks on Galaxy and Lady Flutter definitely sound like regrind. Sweet Clovers sounds like discoloration, if they are mainly by her hooves and ears. Have you opened her up?

Yes, these two have regrind I think. But Sweet Clover‘s looks different.
No, I haven’t open her up…wanted to avoid this as she didn’t smell moldy.
I will try to upload a photo tomorrow :)

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and tips!

She doesn’t show any signs of rust or mold and she doesn’t smell like mold or anything like that.

I would love to show photos but I still can’t figure out how

They are spots and ligns, very uneven and on the tips of her hooves and ears. She came from a lot where some of the ponies had also spots and others didn’t. And there was a Sugarberry with the bright red hair in the lot so I first thought it was maybe from her?

Oh and I know these spots can be on pink ponies. I have neon spots on Galaxy and Lady Flutter but these look different. Sweet Clover‘s aren’t round like the spots on the other two.

Pony Corral / Pink marks on G1 Ponies

Hello everyone

I got a beautiful Sweet Clover recently but she has a few pink marks on her body that didn’t come off after normal cleaning.
I read on a restauration page that these pink marks could be highlighter or also fungus! So, how is it possible to tell apart?
And any tips of getting rid of them? I don’t want to sun fade her because of her fading pink hair.

Pony Corral / Re: What is going on with G1 sales?
« on: April 06, 2024, 03:54:16 AM »
There’s a seller from Europe that’s listing shipping to the USA for one pony is $100. $100!  One pony!  And I don’t even think it’s insured.

The cheapest shipping from Germany to the US with insurance is $52.
And there are definitely countries in Europe with more expensive shipping rates (like France for example)
So it’s not that unrealistic.
From the US to Germany I have seen prices anywhere between $20 and $70
