Hello Arena!
Thought I would make a little reintroduction, since it's been quite a while since I've been here.
So, I'm Destiny (or Riki), 37, from Denmark and a life long collector. My main focus is G1, but I enjoy most of the other generations as well. Sadly, due to life being life, mlp and some of my other "collecting" hobbies have suffered in the past years and are currently being stored in my aunts basement. I've missed it terribly from time to time, but it wasn't until now I finally had some peace of mind to try and get back into the fun.
Hm, quickly, what else about me.. I enjoy being creative, I love animals, I enjoy many things really and I might as well admit I love many things Japan (gonna slip out at some point anyway).
Anything you're curious about, don't be afraid to ask ^^ And I'm looking forward to get to know everyone here (again).

First of I hope this question is alright here.
Now for the question. As the title say, is it possible to bake the schleich critters? I have a friend who'd like to customize some of her schleich horses. This includes adding wings, horns, etc.
She's been unlucky in finding any information with google, so I thought I'd help her out and ask here.
Personally I would think they'd melt, but I've never tried, so how would I know.
Finally, if you know it's not possible, do you then know of any alternatives?

Can anyone tell me if she has molded eyes?
I'm thinking of adding her to my wish-list, but only if she has molded eyes so I can remove the painted on shades and give her eyes instead. If she doesn't have molded eyes, I fear painting eyes on her will just look silly and weird.

So, I recently got my hands on a gorgeous G1 birthflower Holly. The alternate one. Now I've never been interested in this set. I like them, have been tempted to get the two versions of Cosmos (my month) and I think some of the alternate ones are really pretty, but no. They've never been among those ponies I just HAD to have, so when I got her I was like "Jackpot! This will get me money for another Weta Hobbit figurine." (I'm hooked on Weta's Hobbit products, but that's obviously off topic).
..but then I looked at her..
Gosh, she is just so pretty and sweet and and... she's a christmas-y pony and I love christmas and christmas-y ponies.
Now I don't know what to do. Selling her have always been the idea. Even before I got her I've been thinking that if I ever came across a pony like that I would sell it and get other ponies I really want (or something else hobby-related), but she's just so pretty..
Have anyone else tried this? What did you end up doing?

So I finally finished the last giftart I offered some time ago *coughyearscough*. http://patheticcreature.deviantart.com/art/Giftart-for-LadyFizzy-347127292This one's for LadyFizzy who requested her OC along with G1 Angel, Mimic and Barnacle being piratsy. I intended to use the background image as reference and make my own bg, but I just thought the image was too cool and I could never get anywhere near something as pretty as that, so I hope you won't mind me being lazy ^^' And like I've stated in the description on dA, if you know the owner of the image please let me know.

Okay, my ponies are currently stored in large boxes (plastic) and they're going to be for quite some time still. I'm not really scared of mold or pony cancer since the conditions in Denmark are rather pony-friendly (that's my oppinion anyway and I believe cancer to be a problem with the plastic and not the conditions), but I am beginning to think what if the ponies rub off of each other? I'm not really bothered by it as I am faaaaar from being a picky collector, but I'd like to avoid it if possible so I was thinking maybe I should put each pony in their own zipbag. That however made me think if that might raise the possibility for mold. Again not something that would bother me thaaat much, but I'd really like to avoid it.
So what is everyones experience with zipbags? Is it okay to store ponies in zipbags or is it a big nono?
Any alternate ways to store ponies?

So yeah, I was recently wasting my time on youtube when I came across a comment on a mlp related video. Another topic here on the arena reminded me about it (the one about what we want Hasbro to make next. Seaponies seemed to be a very popular demand).
In the comment the person said something about seaponies being the G1 version of seaponies and in G4 they were going to be called Kelpies.
So uhm.... what is going on!? Is it just someone who THINKS they know something or have Hasbro said ANYTHING which indicates they're going to make seaponies?? Normally I would just ignore a comment like that and go "I'll believe it when I see it." but because this person says they're going to be called kelpies, I got curious.

I'm going insane here. I'm trying to find an old cartoon, but just can't remember the name or much of the plot/details. I've been searching for so long now without any luck. You guys once helped me before with a show about dogs, so I really hope just one of you will recognise some of this ^^ The main character was a girl. I think her name was Sophie or something like that and I have a feeling she lived in France. She lived in a big mansion with her parents and was quite spoiled. She loses both her parents in the show (I think. Don't remember if one of them was just asumed dead, but then showed up later in the show). At one point in the show she has to move to America (on the way she loses one of her parents) where she is taken care of by a horrible woman. At the end of the show she returns home and is reunited with some people (neighbors?) she knew as a child, including a boy who becomes a love-interest I think. I also think it was from the 90's, but I could be wrong. Again I'm not 100% sure, but I hope some of it rings a bell to someone. I remember the show to be pretty cute (of course I could be wrong about that as well ) so I would like to see it again.
