Yep. I have a pretty bad cold. Considering how long we've been having bad weather and how good I am at getting sick, I suppose my luck this season has run out, haha. Icky noses and coughs all around my school. A gray day like this could use some pony cheer! How about food-themed ponies? I love me some tasty ponies, whether it's sweets or something more filling! Fooood.

I'm a bit new to buying things from overseas; how long does US customs normally take to process things? I have tracking on a package I'm expecting from Japan, and for almost a week now it's been displaying that it's going through US customs ("Origin Post is Preparing Shipment"). Usually I wouldn't worry, but does it really take that long? Should I be worried that it's stuck in customs? Or is it still too early to call? :S
It wasn't a big or particularly expensive package, so I don't know what would hold it up... all that was inside is a figure I'm expecting. I'm so new to all of this I have no idea whether I should be worried or not!

There's always that one song you just can't get out of your head, isn't there? That song that echoes in your mind when you're zoning out. That song that comes crawling back every time you think it's gone! What's yours? Mine right now is PONPONPON. I must've listened to it at least 20 times today. I can't stop!!

Hello everyone It's been a little while since I've been on the Arena..! Between school and some other IRL struggles, I kind of floated away from the Arena and my collecting in general, it was not a good time for me and I kinda dropped off of the face of the Arena because of it. I occasionally came on to post on WYP and that was about it. I feel so bad about it. But, I am happy to say that although I'm still having struggles, I am working hard to get better and I am out of school now. so I think it is safe to say that I will be returning to activity! My apologies for my sudden disappearance and I hope all is well for everybody out there. I love you all. <3 -OctoberFlash

hello everyone! Not too long ago I picked up a Cotton Candy for myself. She wasn't on my wantlist but she was just so cute and sweet sitting on that shelf, I had to have her ;A; But the problem is, she's got smooze. (that's the term for ingrained dirt, right? T_T i'm a little out of it lately) And it's pretty bad. I'm not sure how to go about cleaning her, and I feel bad because she looks so dirty. I tried scrubbing her with the toothbrush I used to clean some other dirty ponies, and while it worked on them because it was just surface dirt, it didn't do a thing for poor Cotton Candy. Does anyone have any tips on getting smooze out of this poor pony? :/ thanks! -OctoberFlash

I thought of this question and got really curious all of a sudden.. so I thought I'd make a poll! xD
Which way do you like a pony's head better? Do you like it when it's glued on tight or when it's turnable?
I like it glued, turning heads can be rather difficult on some ponies plus it can mess up the hair if I'm not careful, haha.

I'm not sure if this has been posted already, forgive me if it has I found this on another pony site... it says that these pics of a Pinkie Pie with wheels and a voice box were found on TaoBao. Has anyone seen this? What do you think of it? I think it's a bit.. um, strange, but I'll have to wait until I see it in person.

So, I really love candy-themed customs! I've made one before but since my customizing skills have improved greatly since then I'm thinking about making another one. Unfortunately though I haven't been feeling well, and I think I have some minor art block because I can't seem to come up with anything. While I try to get my creativity back, I'm curious to see other people's candy ponies! ^^ If you have one you made that you like (or you have someone else's you like!) post it here! I'd love to see it! -OctoberFlash

I saw G3 Lily Lightly and I think she's cute and I might want one.. but I am very cautious about electronic / battery-operated ponies (it's just an issue of mine). I just have a small question: Does she just light up, or does she make noises of any kind as well as lighting up? Thank you -OctoberFlash

I recently got to clean off some shelves in my room, and one of them is by the windows. I have the blinds pulled all the time, but sunlight still gets in. It's dim, though, and all the things I had lying there before never had sun damage.
Is it safe to put my ponies there, or should I still worry about them getting sun damage even in weak light?
Thanks ^^

Everyone's had some kind of .. interesting thing happen to them with their ponies, right? Whether it's something you did, something unexpected that happened with a pony, or what - what are interesting experiences you've had to share? I had one yesterday.. lol. I got G3 Cinnamon Breeze at a secondhand/thrift store, and I thought "Ooh! Maybe she smells like cinnamon! " so I sniffed her hair... and she smelled like smoke. :S Anyone else have any interesting stories?

The Arena really introduced me to MH dolls. I've been drooling over them forever, but scared to buy them because of the price (they tend to cost a bit more than ponies). xD But I kept coming back to the Dollhouse to look at pictures of MH dolls, and today we went to Wal-Mart and I finally cracked and bought my first MH doll. xD visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI ended up with the black and white Skull Shores Frankie, I was considering getting Ghoulia Yelps but then I saw her and she was the last one left. And then, turns out she was only $4.13 compared to the other dolls, which were $12.98. Which is an awesome bonus. I messed around with her for a bit and I'm already in love with her, I love how the MH dolls are all poseable and stuff and just eeee! You evil people, going around and posting your MH pictures, now I'm considering getting some more. Edit: took some more pictures of her visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I've been thinking about it for a while, and I've decided that I think I want to get some guinea pigs as pets. I used to have rabbits, so I've dealt with small (ish? xD) animals before, and I also had a dog (which worried me, as she'd probably chase a guinea pig), but we had to put her down last month. I was thinking of getting two guinea pigs, probably two females (or two males). I do have some questions though - does anyone here own / has owned guinea pigs? What are they like as pets? I also have some stuff leftover from my rabbits (both passed away unexpectedly, one of old age and the other of pneumonia while under the care of a friend, unfortunately), such as some timothy hay, these little yogurt treats, a water bottle, and some non-clumping cat litter (my rabbits were litterbox trained, but I had to make sure the litter was non-clumping because they sometimes try to eat it). Would this leftover stuff (which is a few years old) be safe to use with guinea pigs, if I got some? Also, can you litterbox train a guinea pig, and would I be able to use the non-clumping litter I have? Thanks -OctoberFlash

I found a bunch of Crumpet pose fakies at a store and decided to buy one for my collection.
I was thinking of buying some more for custom bait, but before I went and bought a bunch of the same pony I thought I'd ask: are Crumpet pose fakies worth a lot? Is it safe to customize them? ^^
Thanks! -OctoberFlash
