Okay so I just did a double take cruising down the Big Bad Toy Store website. Now there are even more crossover ponies coming out beyond the first four. Twister, Lite-Brite and a Dungeons & Dragons Set. Thoughts?
I actually do like one of the Dungeons & Dragons Set, but not going to buy them for that much, and if only they had actual hair. Does anyone own these? Kind of curious what "Woodheart the Kind" looks like in person out of the box.

I own all of them in this style so far. I think they've grown on me. I kind of like that the hair is reminiscent of G1 cartoon styles but I think that brushable hair would be good on them, too. However, they are basically a solid block of plastic so unless you're feeling very stubborn, rooting them would be a pain. Plus, I've not yet pried off the hair on any to see how they are attached so it might not look good even if someone wanted to root them. The tails have a ball joint in them and pop on and off with ease. Though, given that they are a solid block of plastic, they feel very sturdy. The Dungeons and Dragons set have clothing that will come off if you remove the tail first. And they have symbols under the clothing. They're actually very well done.

Lady Moondancer has great review on the DnD set.
I own the Lite Brite Pony. I mostly like her, but her eyes are awful and her head is a little weird. I'd say the retro mane six has better moulds, eyes and brushable hair. I do like the G1 esque hair on these gals though, as well as the fact that they're all new characters and have great color choices.

I love them but wish they were brushable

Except the Lite Brite pony I agree. I don't think there's any way you can make brushable hair be like Lite Brite pegs and without it she would just be a black rainbow pony.

I'd love a black rainbow pony! But I agree, Lite Brite wouldn't be quite the same if she was brushable. Not sure if the Prime pony would suit brushable hair either (a robot with hair??). The others would be gorgeous with proper hair, though...

They look neat, but they have yet to crossover with any kind of franchise that I'm interested in.

I hate their creepy eye placement but I was thinking about buying the power ranger one where this problem is not present, although I am worried it will have some forced G4 references on the packaging somewhere

I'm still thinking of getting the Lite Brite pony and trying to make her hair light up. Yeah, I know its all solid plastic but I have a drill and I'm not afraid to use it! I already have other projects to do, though, so for now the idea is kind of simmering.
The DnD ponies are probably my faves, but I won't spend the $$ to get the whole set. I play a barbarian horse in DnD so if they sold them individually I'd totally get her! The fuzzy...pants(?) are incredible  Yes I have a very easy-going DM

Is the Lite Bright pony black or purple?

She's actually a very dark blue

Still not brushable but I suppose you could drill holes into the plastic and use actual lite brite pegs as a mohawk but I don't know how good that would actually look...

Interesting! I really like the Lite Brite pony. If only they would just scoot those eyes up the heads a little they would be pretty cute. As they are they still just look like fakies to me.

I would love to see that

I had no idea about the Twister and Lite Brite ponies! I especially adore Lite Brite. I guess I see the point about the eyes, but oh my gosh, I'm still in love with her. Black body with a translucent rainbow mane? <3 YES. It helps that I had a Lite Brite as a kid and I adored it.

Thank you! She's my favorite of them all but I've yet to see her in person.
