I personally like white ponies, because any hair colors can look great on them. The white unicorns with jewel-toned hair (Glory/Moondancer/Gusty) make up some of my favorite ponies.
What's your favorite color for ponies to come in?

It's a pretty close race between bright pink, deep blue, and purple for me personally. Those three are my favorite colors so I struggle to choose which is definitively best! :lookround:

My favorites are the bright/deep/vibrant colors. I love the dark blue of the Diary pony and the bright vibrant pinks and oranges like the Paradise Babies, Rockin' Beat and Tropical ponies.

I could barely decide between yellow and blue but I went with blue... Probably because I'm working on a blue custom right now...

I find myself drawn to a lot of yellow and blue ponies. Ended up picking yellow in the pole. Similar to how you feel about white, I think yellow tends to look good with a lot of different hair colors.

I like white ponies for the same reason you do, but I also have a soft spot for green ponies too - if they have the right combo of mane and symbol colors I think they can be very pretty!

Green...probably partly due to the scarcity of them. I always like a balanced mix of colors in collections, so it makes sense that I tend to seek out the ones I have least of to balance things out. Tootsie was my favorite childhood pony, and I think she was the only green one my siblings and I had in our combined herd of 80+ ponies.

Orange! 99% of my pony collection is orange :D

Yes! The white unicorns with jewel-toned hair are also some of my favorites as well! I would also add Majesty to that mix. White is my favorite color for ponies, probably followed by yellow, green, and blue. Pink and purple ponies are fine, but there's so many of them. The only color I'm not so fond of is orange. Sorry, Applejack! I still love you, though.

Most of my favorite ponies are yellow. Bubbles, Lemon Drop, Skydancer, Posey, Trickles, Dancing Butterflies, Bouncy, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Magic Star are all favorites.

Green ponies more specifically teal attract me, though in general my favorite color is pink

I wish peach was an option, so I went with pink! Love the pink/orange/peach spectrum!

I like nearly all pony colors, some more or less then others.
I chose blue, because it has always been my favorite color. I intend to get as many as possible. So many good looking blue ponies.
Brown is my least favorite.
I'm not fond of orange and red, but can be persuaded if they come with good complimentary shades. Ditto for peach.
Pink I'm not super fond of, but enjoy it a bit more now, then I used to.
Green is pretty, but there's not nearly enough, and most green ones are wishy-washy inbetween shades, instead of true greens.
I don't like yellow, but Hasbro makes so many beautiful ponies, that I want lots of them.
I'm iffy on gray and black, because they either come in unflattering combos, or unflattering moulds.
I'm limiting my white ponies, because the sun shines strong in my window. I like them though.
I like purple ponies a lot too.
I wish more gradient ponies were made, I'd like at least one.

Looking along my shelf of favourites, it seems I really like blue ponies: Wind Whistler, Bright Eyes, Tornado, Baby Tippytoes, Ribbon and baby (of course!), and Greek Baby Bluebell! The dark blue of deflocked Ribbon is especially gorgeous.

I chose green as there wasn't a aqua / teal / turquoise option. I'm not really a big fan of green, but I do love shades of aqua / teal / turquoise.

Blue is my fave colour for everything, including Ponies. I also love bright/neon colours like the Rocking Beats & Shady. My least fave colour is G1 Sundae Best Pony Cherry Berry pink. It's pink (overused), dull & washed out, & it doesn't go wi that neon yellow

Ooh I definitely agree that's an unfortunate combo. I'm not sure about Raspberry Jam either. I think maybe that pink may have looked a bit better when the pony was new and has faded/yellowed a bit in all cases, but I can't honestly remember.
But I should really mention the favourite, light blue. Some of these might also be described as turquoise or anyway between blue and green. It's so hard to choose, but Blue Belle, Sunlight, Sunbeam, Moonstone, Sparkler, Wind Whistler, Starflower, Hopscotch, Daffodil Pony, Glow, Whirly and Night Glider are all treasures in my collection. Brilliant Blossoms, Cuddles, Cherry Sweet, Bowtie, Ribbon, Flowerburst, Sports Time, Sweet Pop and Sweet Tooth are pretty cool as well. Can't forget babies Pictures, Pockets, Stripes, Sunribbon and others too!
August Poppy gives me chills but I'll probably never own her! Shell Pony, Nachlicht and Wurfelchen are also a bit out of my league too.

White and yellow for me! Pastel yellow to be more specific, although some bright yellow ponies are also nice (like Dancing Butterflies, Tootie Tails). White is a classic and I agree it looks great with any hair colour.
Orange ponies are fun but they don't have the same appeal to me as yellow ones... But I love orange hair! Actually I just realised a lot of my favourite yellow and white ponies have orange or partially orange hair. ^^'
I love green and I have a soft spot for green ponies, too - but like LAW said, there are so few ponies that are truly green. There should be more ponies in the colour of Baby Leaper!

Aqua teal and turquoise are blue shades.

I would say purple, blue,green, then the warmer tones. I love bright colors or pastel. I know people are bored of purple but "Harold and the purple crayon" cemented the color for me. :)

Oh gosh... This is tough. I love all the colors. Even with my least favorite color for ponies (peach) there are some real beauties that I love! And the hair color of a pony has such a huge effect on the overall look. Some of my favorite pink ponies have blue or deep green hair. I suppose overall I like green, blue, and pink ponies the most but I really love them all.

I chose white as it's my top favorite but I also love ponies with vibrant or saturated colors that really catch your eye. Party Time, Sunsplasher, and Waterfire for example.

I adore the dark pink ponies and pink ponies with all pink manes, I adore hidden treasure g3 and cotton candy g1 so much.

Hands down yellow. <3 So cheerful and warm. They always make me smile. :)
Purple and the more vibrant / neon ones follow closely behind yellow ponies.

i love white ponies a whole lot! they rarely look bad, and cleaning them is sooo satisfying. dirt shows up on them more, so a good clean up is such a noticeable change!

My favorite color is white in general. It reminds me of a blank canvas so makes me feel warm. I like white unicorns the most because that's the traditional unicorn color in my mind.

White ponies are by far my favorite, although for G1's a real challenge to upkeep. I just feel they look so elegant!

I mulled over this for a while before Waterfire caught my eye from the shelf like "don't act like you don't already have an answer".
Blue. Blue is best.
(Gray/brown/black are all really nice too, though, and I wish they'd get more use!)

White on white. Princess Tiffany is so elegant, she is my forever favourite.
However I do have a soft spot for pastel yellow. After Princess Tiffany, Posey’s colours make my heart happy, she’s just so beautifully simple and sweet.

oddly i love blue on ponies as it is in general my favorite color BUT the interesting thing is i LOVE g1 flutterbyes overall look, color, hair combo , pose just everything all put together

So I just read my previous post gushing about light blue ponies, however now it's spring I seem to have changed to yellow! They are such fun summery themes :heart:
