As my husband's dad used to say (he worked in car sales for a number of years), "Persistence wears down resistance."

And so, I give in.  I will flail.  But only because I have a VERY good reason -- I received my swap box today!!!  It was totally unassuming, as it came with a bunch of other pony mail that I was already expecting.  Plus, I just didn't think it would arrive so quickly. 

I immediately recognised the random wrapping, and had to laugh out loud.  I am such a random person -- the wrapping fits me perfectly. 

I knew that it was from the person who posted their teaser just before mine, but for the life of me couldn't remember who it was and didn't recognise their RL name on the box.  I was all 


So I sifted back through the thread and finally found it.  My box is from mercynova!  I haven't opened anything yet, though.  I've just put my baby girl down for a nap and am now going to jump in the shower before I miss my window of opportunity.  I don't know what's inside, mercynova, but thank you so much!!  You've already made my day. 

*flails in excitement and suspense over my box*

Just a quick update: I'm only halfway through opening up my swap box pressies, I haven't even gotten to the ponies yet, and already I am nearly in tears with the thoughtfulness of my partner.  Some people who have known me for years wouldn't have chosen so well for me.  I feel like it's my birthday and Christmas wrapped into one.  I can't stop grinning.

Hah, another "only chance to have a shower" person!  I never thought five minutes for a shower was a big deal until the kids!

This is so exciting!  I love seeing the boxes roll in!  Can't wait to see Mercy's!

Shenanigans, your sister sounds like so much fun.  It's great you two are so close.  My sister is also my best friend, but she doesn't get all excited about things I collect.  She humors me, but only so much.

You know that part in Home Alone where Kevin McCallister is running around the house waving his arms all over the place?  *ahem... some people might call it a flail* Well, that was me after opening up my box. 

Be looking out for my awesome swap box photos in the Make a Wish (List) brag thread in a few hours or so.  I can't promise that the photos themselves will be awesome, but the contents of the box certainly are!!  Thanks again, mercynova, you completely spoiled me!

So...I was having the worst day ever and had just gotten out of the shower when my buzzer rings.  I was like oh my gosh, package!  So I scrambled to get out there and get it!  And oh my gosh!  I was so excited I was shaking!  Got the top open and grinned like and idiot!  Inside the box were the awesome space print parcels and the glow in the dark star panorama!  My box was from Madhatterda!    I shook all the way through opening squeeing!  She was so good to me!  I feel so spoiled!  Best box ever!  I'll post pics in a few...my phone is dying!
