My gift custom is coming together (nearly halfway finished with her mane), and I've managed to stretch my budget enough to incorporate another pony (So that makes four official so far, but I hope to squeeze in a fifth)! Ehehehe! I've got a few nice extras but I hope to gather up a few more unique little goodies.

Ugh... seems so obvious now, but sometimes my brain can't handle all the abbreviations, lol. 

My gift custom is coming together (nearly halfway finished with her mane), and I've managed to stretch my budget enough to incorporate another pony (So that makes four official so far, but I hope to squeeze in a fifth)! Ehehehe! I've got a few nice extras but I hope to gather up a few more unique little goodies.

Wow, hearing everyone talk about their customs makes me wish I hadn't been so snobby in my questionnaire.  I said that I enjoy customs but would prefer to pick out my own.  You all seem to be insanely excited to be making these for your partners.  It reeks of awesomeness.

I wish I had the patience to make a custom for someone. My talents are art inclined, but I don't know if I could make myself finish a custom. Rehairing is just.....tedious.

Hey, at least you can do it if so inclined.  I haven't the foggiest!  I'm totally impressed with anyone who has the time, patience, and skills to rehair a pony, let alone create an entire custom.  So, well done, DazzleKitty.  Be proud of yourself.

I haven't even attempted a custom yet, but I imagine mine would fail as well.  Sadly, I used to be so artistic... but somehow, the older I get, the more afraid I am to try new things or rediscover old talents.

I'm actually really nervous! I've done some rehairing to restore ponies and a bit of custom work before (creating a horn and "Clydesdale" hooves for a G3, painting eyes) but this will be my first completed custom! She looks nice but it's difficult to keep the tiny flaws from jumping out at you and overtaking what's good about what you've done.
