The most amazing Valentine's RAOPK

My sweet friend Shenanigans told me she wanted to send me a Valentine.  How nice is THAT?!  I expected a card, but this is what came in the mail:

If you look at it simply, it's just some cookies and a homemade valentine, which is pretty amazing in and of itself.  But this valentine was anything but simple!  So much thought and care went into it.  The box itself had heart stickers all over it, and when I carefully cut open the seal and pulled back the flaps, I saw sparkly red and white tissue paper.  And lots of shimmery heart-shaped confetti and shiny gems. After I had gotten past that layer, I saw the most beautiful homemade valentine ever -- the kind of classic valentine you read about but never receive (or at least, I never did).  Shenanigans used thick scrapbook-type paper for the heart and gave it a frilly silk border.  She drew Rainbow Windy, which she knows is my all-time favourite pony.  Talk about warm fuzzies!!  But wait... what's underneath?  A plastic container filled with sugar cookies??  And not just ANY sugar cookies, pony-shaped sugar cookies.  All were decorated to look like real Hasbro ponies.  And not just ANY Hasbro ponies, love-themed ones. As much as I didn't want to mess up her beautiful handiwork, I didn't want her baking to go to waste.  So I took some pictures and ate them.  It was painful, but I shared some with my husband and kids, too.  They lasted about 24 hours.  Maybe.  They were that good.  Like nomnomnom good.

My husband is going to be hard-pressed to beat that! Thanks again, Shenanigans... I loved everything about it, and the note you included nearly brought me to tears.  Can't wait for my turn to spoil you!! x 10!!!

Awww Again, I'm so overly happy you loved everything so much! I should have put some wax paper in between the cookies because it looks like they stuck together I'm glad your kids and husband enjoyed them too You are such a special person and I'm glad I could spoil you

Yay, so glad you got one, too!!  I know what you mean about the cookies.  I felt like Cookie Monster when he gets to the very last cookie and is happy that he still has one left, but then it's gone.

Hahaha!!!  I'm pretty sure my container had bite marks on it!  The cookies are totally gone.  I need to upload pictures of my gorgeous handmade card!!  It's just so awesome:)

Gorgeous!  And yes, her package is one giant valentine!  I got one too!  You open it up and there are pillows of soft tissue paper, sparkly hearts, and the too perfect to be true valentine. We are spoiled.
