I was having a pretty bad day and decided to hit up a few local thrift shops to see if I could find any ponies.
I found a bag of G3's and what I thought was a grafittied G3.
However on closer inspection it was a G1 Princess Moondust!!
Someone was overly loved lol
Proof that I can't leave any pony behind!!! <3

Poor Moondust, what a shame. :yikes:
Perhaps you can sun fade the worst of it out, or try hydrogen peroxide + UV?

She's going to be spending a lot of time in the sun + a few oxi baths. :)

That's good news, I'm glad she found a home with someone who appreciates her for the survivor she is. Finding any G1 pony second hand these days is a rarity. Why would anyone use her as a write board, I have no idea. :cry: Poor little pony. You should to keep the Arena apprised of her restoration progress!

Congrats on your finds. Funky how they wrote on her like that. I could see if maybe she was used a present or maybe a centerpiece but that writing makes no sense. Good luck restoring her.

A nice sun bath, some conditioner and a cute pony clothes and she'll be ready to join the heard!

Oh bless what a darling! I'm so glad you saved her, I find when I save my ponies even when they have the worst cancer, mould and stuff I can't sell them on! Awwhhh, grats :D xxx

well congrats on the find an that poor pony i have a few that have black marker and a name on the foot but that is all. I also have one that says A 1990 on one foot.

I am sure she will clean up just fine! Congrats on finding her... it's more and more difficult to find G1s secondhand these days. :)

Oh that's terrible about Princess Moondust. What exactly is written on her? Just curious. I found G3 Kimono today and she had a girl's name written on her back--I didn't buy her because she was a G3. I'm glad you are trying to save a G1!
