Good news: I made more craft ponies from thrifted ponies! Bad news: I'm running out of reserve thrift ponies to craft visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBellflower!!!! (nickname: Fairy Berry) She is a cottagecore/ mori Kei sweet summer child. Her mane is always decorated with her favorite flower, the Lily of the Valley. She likes pressing flowers, tending to her strawberry garden, making strawberry jam, flower crowns, picnics, holding book clubs every Sunday, and strolling through the forest. Sometimes she will end up abducted by fairies for weeks at a time and then show up, unharmed and unfazed, to the bewilderment of her friends. Her cutie mark is a pink and white mushroom sandwiched between two leaves, with a pink star in the top center. The cutie mark represents a fairy circle, which displays her unique talent for traipsing into the fae dimension and communicating with them. The mark itself is inspired by Pokémon TCG fairy type energy symbol. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginName: Iron Gait Name Inspiration: Moi Meme Moitie’s (brand) “Iron Gate” print. Occupation: blacksmith (wrought iron gate craftsman)/ hobbyist craftsman Whooo! This was a fun one to make! Originally, I started crafting her as MLP:FiM background pony, Cinnamon Chai. I had pretty much everything done and all I had to do was paint her mane, but colors didn’t agree, and I held her off her off, I could try again, got frustrated, and just did away with her mane entirely. A new paint job and synthetic hair and crafted clothing later, and she became Iron Gait, because I could always use another Moitie inspired pony. She is all black, save for her eyes and cutie mark (which is Moitie’s candelabra logo), because 1: it’s by favorite color, and I don’t have any black ponies, and 2: I wanted her eyes and clothing to stand out more. She wears a laced up headdress with a rose motif, a decorative headbow in the back, a ribboned collar, and a buttbow on her rump. Her bangs are made from false eyelashes. And her hair is meant to resemble as caring veil trailing from her headdress. The inspiration for her ensemble is Japanese elegant Lolita fashion by the brand, Moi Meme Moitie. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMore J-fashion Lolita inspired ponies? More Lolita ponies! (this time, in name only) I thought I could keep her simple since I didn’t plan on crafting her a Lolita coordinate, as I do for my other Lolita outfitted ponies, but her hair said otherwise. Anyway- a bit of info about this girl... she is the sister of Lippizaner Lace and Teacakes (to be crafted, eventually!!!). The three of them run “Satin Stitch” Dress shop.

I’ve been wondering, rather than g5 being a reboot of the franchise, what if we got a past generation retelling, or redo? Ideally, I would love to see this for g2, which seems fittingly comparable to the ginger-haired stepchild that Hasbro keeps chained in the basement....but given Hasbro’s g1 passion for g1- as we have seen all throughout g4, it is more likely that we would get a g1 redo. What new content or merch do you think we would see that was never done in the of g1? More villains? More fleshed out backstories? Could the past gen redo do something for the newer generation than the of gens couldn’t have the opportunity to do?

I made this girl’s character months ago, but never really got around to making her until now. Name: Wishcraft Name Inspiration: wishing stars/ witchcraft/ Hecate/Diana Name Meaning: pun on the word “witchcraft”. “Wish” stems from the Delta Aquarius Star (“Skat” in Arabic), meaning “a wish”/ wishing star). “Craft” etymological origins lie in the Anglo-Saxon’s word “lyblaeca” which means “wizard, sorcerer” but with suggestions of skill in the use of drugs, because the root word is “Lybb”, meaning “drug/poison/charm”. Lybbestre is a female word meaning “sorceress” and lybcorn was the name of a medicinal seed (wild saffron). Nickname: None Nickname inspiration: None Nickname Meaning: None Cutie Mark: a stylized shooting star Cutie Mark Meaning: the shooting star has arrows on each point, representing her talent for Vector Transformation, while the “tail” of the Star is a Barnsely’s Fern, which represents affine transformation (from the Latin, affinis, "connected with"). Species: pony Class: Nymfernal (a class of pony that possesses traits of unicorn, Pegasi, and earth type clans from the East. Smaller than the average pony, and with pronounced markings and features, the entire race was seen as wretched creatures by their pony cousins, and were ostracized and in extreme cases- attempted to be eradicated. Some unicorns sought more peaceful solutions and cast many Nymfernal camps into a separate realm that came to be called Tartarus. Many went into hiding due to persecution- one of which was Wishcraft and her family). Modern mares tales continue to depict the Nymfernal race as malicious or mischievous creatures akin to devils and imps. Hair color: black Coat color: white Distinct markings: cloud-shaped chest and ear tufts. Crescent moon and star on forehead. Fairy winged-shaped protrusions along her backside. Curved, crescent moon shaped horn. Eye color: violet Occupation: Apothecary Character Design Inspiration: Honduran White Bats Likes: children, freedom, experimentation Dislikes: judgmental ponies, Favorite Food: ice cream Least Favorite Food: Favorite Drink: coffee Least Favorite Drink: Favorite flower: orchids Favorite season: Spring Hobbies: bookbinding Fears: having her children harmed by those that misunderstand and fear her Personality: rebel, eccentric, hard-pressed to fit into someone else’s mold or style, open-minded, energetic, thoughtful, independent, Skills: medicinal teas, creams, serums, and essences (primarily using orchids), vector conversion Flaws: temperamental, uncompromising, difficulty expressing emotions, difficulty trusting others Quirks: Family: Potion Nova (daughter), Trixie Lulamoon (daughter), Manaffodil Cloverleaf (son) Extra: her character inspiration overall is the Wiccan Goddess, Diana (and Hecate). visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Does Moondancer still have both of her moons??? Not too clear from the pics.
Anyway, congrats on finding anything, especially Lemon Drop xxx
she absolutely does! And both are gloriously glittery!

I was doing some light brushing of conditioner on my newly thrifted Lemon Drop’s tail when she decided to just snap the entire thing off like a lizard. It was very shocking! (And as far as I’m concerned, she is now a reptilian disguised as a pony) Anyway, it appears that her washer is now in the hollow of her foot, and I am deathly afraid of beheading her to get it out. Is there no other way to replant the tail? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Here it is, guys. My last splurge to thrifting ponies for a while. No more, this year. And possibly no more next year. I found g1 Blossom, Snuzzle, Lemondrop, and Moondancer (her symbol is still glittery!) They’re all a bit dirty, but their hair doesn’t look bad at all. I already have everyone but Lemondrop, and my g1 holding bin is packed full, buuuut I’m not complaining. I just gotta find somewhere to put these new girls. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

So, in photography, the term “Magic Hour” is used to refer to a time of day (that lasts around a half hour window of time) shortly before sunrise (golden hour), where the sun is redder and softer, or after sunset (blue hour), where indirect sunlight takes in a bluer tint.
Since Golden Hour and Blue Hour seem like prime Untouched pony names, how would you guys go about designing a gimmick for such potential ponies? Would you give them clock-based gimmick that alternates their cutie marks according to the time of day? Would you give them a push button gimmick that sets off camera noises? Let me know how you would treat these ponies!

New Pony Life figures (they look to be singles, thank Luna) are on the way! (THANKS HASBRO, for doing this, after I decided not to collect as many ponies and start saving for a new J-hobby D-:< ) so we got Rarity, Cadance with Rarity hair, and a Sunset Shimmer missing her mustard stripe. Gotta get Sunnybuns, regardless. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hasbro not even caring to name their ponies anymore. Like, there were new characters in the Potion Life blind bags- but nope. If they aren’t the mane 6, then screw them.
Way to go, Hasbroken.

I second that, if it means I get to ramble about the awesomeness of Japanese word history and name construction..*geekish eyes shine*
Back on topic...
That picture of Leon - I assume he is drinking tea - which is maybe a cultural nod to his (stereotypical!) regional origins BUT...when I first saw it I thought he had a TV handset and was flipping channels xD.
Tea? I don't see that? I only see his purple-ish hoof
Ahh, is it his hoof? Not used to ponies that have inexplicably different coloured body parts
it’s definitely his hoof

*whispers* I quite like moulded hair ponies You can take them out and about on adventures without messing their hair up! But brushable hair is fun too.
molded manes definitely make for better adventurous outings!
