Title: suecee: Anyone else waiting for ponies?
Post by: Leopard_Print_Unicorn on February 02, 2012, 08:49:41 AM
I paid suecee for a Baby Lemon Drop on Dec 21 of 2011. To date, she has still not arrived. For several weeks, I have been e-mailing suecee and she has blamed the post office, saying they are trying to "track it down."

Two days ago, I asked her for proof of shipment, even a scan or pic of a post office receipt. She said she would get me one but did not.

There is also another user on here waiting for ponies from her.

Because of all this, I have opened a paypal dispute before my 45 day window closes. If the pony truly is lost in the post, I will happily pay her again when (if) it ever arrives.

This is an update to my previous thread "Canada to US, what's up?" To note, my other pony from Canada (different seller), which was purchased AFTER the pony from Suecee, arrived almost two weeks ago.

Oh dear.  :(  Well, you did the right thing to open a Paypal/Ebay claim!  Hopefully it's just that she's a little behind on shipping again and waiting for some Paypal funds to come through.  Not that that is a good excuse, but it is becoming more common now that Paypal holds money so long for sellers.  Let us know how things work out for you!  *pony hugs*

Thanks for starting this thread, I know its not always an easy thing to do , but it is the right thing to do, and it is helpful to the community    Hopefully suecee will come here and make things right with you soon and  hopefully others who are waiting for parcels from her will post here as well

I wish that was the case but when I first e-mailed her she assured me that the pony had been mailed within several days of me buying her.

Yes, I have thankfully, she has now agreed to refund me. But she was not very happy too.
I'm still hoping they turn up. I'll pay her back if they do.

I got an e-mail from her saying she had refunded me, and an e-mail from paypal saying that the dispute was closed, so even though the money hasn't shown up on my paypal, I'm hoping that means that the refund will be there in a few days.

In the meantime, if anyone is selling a Baby Lemondrop...

Thank you for letting us and the community know about the issues that you guys have been having with suecee. I hate that it had to come down to a TS thread to get suecee to rectify the situation but glad to hear that there had been some resolution, all the same.

ponyRN, please let us know when your refund goes through. Hopefully there aren't any more members having with problems with her. :)

I am glad that this was resolved so quickly, too. Not being a seller, I'm not used to waiting for money to show up on my PayPal account. How long should I expect it to take before I see the money back on my paypal?

IceCrystalline, have you actually received your refund or just an agreement to refund?

It's probably an eCheck. Basically she didn't have the money in her Paypal so she's transferring it from her linked bank account so normally like 5 - 6 days I think? It should have a pending until date I think? Usually it would be an instant transfer if there was a backup credit card on the account, at least for the US but maybe she doesn't have a CC on her account.

The paypal email just said dispute was closed. When I opened the comments, there was my original complaint, then a response from her that said "a refund was issued," but I have not received anything from paypal saying that I have a refund. The dispute says it is "closed" but it is still in the "being reviewed by paypal" stage. If I don't see it within a week, I will contact someone from paypal.

I think emery is right.  Since the dispute is closed but you havent had any monies yet, it sounds like suecee did not have the funds in her paypal account so she has issued the refund by e-check. It takes some days to clear :awake:  Keep an eye on it. Hopefully it will come through...
Icecrystalline - have you received your refund by echeck as well? :what:

Not yet, but I looked again and in the comments of my dispute, "refund issued" was stated by Paypal and not Suecee, so that makes me feel a little better. If it's not there by Friday I will contact Paypal again.

Have you not received them yet?  They were sent long ago.  Within days of being paid. I did get all the money and they were all shipped. Great! Now I'm worried.  Youre the 4th person who hasnt received their ponies. Let me know when they arrive and I'll look for the reciept to see if I can figure out the exact date that I shipped them.

Its kinda a bummer as I was hoping that the super huge load of seapony stuff from her,   and then stuff from Germany - which thankfully I did get :-) NINA you ROCK!!! - was gonna be the big easter basket surprise this year...

so yeah, I's learned me a valuable lesson about checking feedback BEFORE purchasing stuff
Title: Re: suecee: Anyone else waiting for ponies?
Post by: suecee on February 07, 2012, 10:53:41 AM
So, I'm in here again! LOL!! All these ponies have been shipped.  I'm not always organized as I should be so the receipts aren't showing up in my mess of paperwork.  All the people who have notified me that they havn't received their ponies have been refunded.  I had just withdrawn all my money before they requested their money so that's why the monies havent shown up in their PayPal accounts because they had to come out of my bank account cause I dont have a credit card. All the monies have cleared my bank so they should be arriving soon in yours.

I'm just trying to clear out my pony stuff.  I have a million things to sell and I'm trying to do it properly.  I'm sorry for those of you who dont trust me but there's nothing that I can do except sell and try to be a decent seller. i will admit that at times I can be a bit slow in responding but it's not cause I am ignoring you but because I lead a pretty busy life.  There have been several people that have purchased ponies from me before December that have already received them and seem to be quite happy with their items.

I received my purchase from suecee but I found the transaction to be quite stressful. She wasn't good with communication (unless it was before the money was paid - then she could write two or three times in one day until the transaction was completed on my end), always had "good" excuses for not being able to reply or to ship, gave the wrong tracking number (I had asked for tracking) and if felt to me like she was just trying to buy more time. She also promised a partial refund for a shipping overcharge (I saved every single one of our PMs on my hard drive so I still have proof of that) but she never came through with it. But when I actually received the pony, I was so happy that the transaction was over with that I didn't bother to PM her again about the refund. I didn't leave her any feedback. I know that I should have but my feedback here was perfect up until now and I was afraid that if I left her a less than perfect feedback, that she might leave me a bad one too :(

Oh, and BTW, I live in Canada too and Canada Post may be slow but it's extremely reliable. I have never, ever had a package go missing... Ever!

That's good to hear sillymoosey but sorry to hear of the stress it caused.

I would recommend you leave honest feedback.  I am sure that if she left you negative retaliatory feedback it would be changed.

Wow. Sillymoosey I was watching the discussion between you and Suecee (on the sales thread about your Fireball) during the time that I was getting 'excuses' too. I'm not going to lie, I don't have my ponies and although it says I am refunded, the money is not in my account. I was also told the wrong tracking number for my ponies, she then said she would go to the post office to get the correct one. a week later she said it didn't even have a tracking number and that it was not sent tracked after I had asked it to be sent tracked at least 6 times due to one other parcel going missing (thankfully this seller is very lovely and we have agreed on a half and half refund as we are in the same boat), considering I spent £150 on air, I'm quite unhappy. If I get my refund within this week it would be excusable but since this was promised last week I am a bit confused as to where my money is? Thankyou Sillymoosey for posting here because I understand exactly why you are stressed by this. Good luck! xxx

Yes, please do leave honest feedback. We do not allow retaliatory feedback here, if it is unwarranted. If it happens, contact a TS Mod.
Title: Re: suecee: Anyone else waiting for ponies?
Post by: suecee on February 09, 2012, 06:06:59 AM
Sillymoosey, I made an honest mistake about the tracking number. Both of those numbers where on the receipt. I am checking my PayPal now because I did authorize a refund to you, It's just taking a bit to find your payment. Oh, and I dont leave a Neg just cause you do!

Ice - Tracking would have cost you an extra $58.  The ladies at the PO know the amount that was paid for shipping and normally send them within that range, beit a dollar or 2 more, I normally dont mind.  I try to refund Overpaid shipping if its more then $1 which is why I refunded sillymoosey.  As stated before in this thread, I had just withdrawn all my paypal funds from my account, so when you where refunded, it has to come out of my bank, which acts as an e-check.  All monies have already been taken out of my bank since Monday but Paypal says they're reviewing the case til the 13th.  I can't help how long they review the case.

Yes, honest feedback is absolutely crucial to the community and as Kiwi and Ponylady have both mentioned already, retaliatory feedback is removed as soon as we are made aware of it. ;) So no worries, there.

Oh, and I dont leave a Neg just cause you do!

That is good to know suecee.

I hope that we see some positive results very soon. Keep us posted, everypony.

They're duplicates because they were mailed on the same receipt.  Items mailed WITHOUT a tracking number obviously have no traking number, so I listed the receipt number as proof of shipment. Small packets dont come with tracking info, unless purchased, above the shipping price.

!
Ice - Tracking would have cost you an extra $58.

Ok, I'm a bit confused now, you originally said it would cost $20 shipping with tracking, I agreed and you said you would send them tracked. I asked for the track no. a few days later and you  gave me an invalid one and I tried it on Track Canada Post and it didn't work. i asked you to try it and a few days later you said you'd go to the post office. I heard nothing so a week later contacted you and you said it would have cost $60 to send it tracked, but now you're saying it would cost my original $20 + an on top $58. I would never have bought from Sucee had I known my parcels were not to be sent tracked. I always get my post sent tracked from Canada and America. I no longer buy from America or Canada because of this bad luck. :(  I have waited 8 days for my refund, Paypal said it was refunded on the 3rd of February, but it is not in my accoutn yet. Can you please transfer my money Suecee, because I've been waiting 8 days.
This is not having a go at you personally, but I am rather mift at the fact that I asked for tracking and you didn't tell me that it would cost me extra before you sent it and took the choice to send it not tracked.

Thank you, I do hope you transfer my funds quickly as I have been waiting 8 days and you still haven't transferred my money.

Fingers crossed that this gets sorted. xxx

Post by: suecee on February 11, 2012, 06:04:52 AM
Ice, I don't always go to the PO with my Parcels.  Sometimes I just send them there.  The packages go marked with your address and the amount paid for shipping on the box. The ladies there know how I do my shipping, and since I was originally told I could ship it with tracking for $20, I told you that amount. So they naturally sent it with  the closest to $20 for shipping.  When I received my receipt, I gave you the number on the receipt, which is in actuality, just proof that it's been shipped, not an actual tracking code.

About your money, you need to contact PayPal about that.  They are the ones still reviewing the case, not me.  The monies have already left my account, since February 6th, according to my records.

Partial bank statement -
Feb 06, 2012  MISC PAYMENT  -PAYPAL PTE LTD  128.16
Feb 06, 2012  MISC PAYMENT  -PAYPAL PTE LTD  118.30

Thats the date when it clear my bank account. These amounts are in Canadian Funds.

I called Paypal because my dispute is listed as closed, with the refund being held for clearance until Feb 13th, which is obviously today. After several relays I talked to an "account specialist," whoever that is, and she says that it has until the end of the day or even tomorrow to clear. So I will call back again tomorrow if still no money in my account.

Just jumping in to say that I bought some ponies last year too and still haven't received them :( My name wasn't on the tracking list unfortunately and I'm over the 45 day paypal period. I didn't open a dispute because Suecee assured me that they had been sent (I should have been more careful I know). I wouldn't mind an update on whats going on.

edit to add: I've sent a pm to Suecee asking for more information. Just for the record - I sent her $67 via paypal on December the 15th 2011 for 3 ponies that have not arrived. It does take longer to receive international parcels in Australia but never longer than 30 days and it has now been two months!

I still haven't received that 5$ shipping refund. Not that I really care, it's just five bucks and I never asked for it but it has been promised and suecee said that the payment had been made and that it should clear in a few days. Now that some people are getting their refunds, I'm thinking that mine wasn't actually made...

I wanted to say overall my dealings have been very amicable and we were easily able to get everything worked out so glad for that = wish I had MLP's of course, but very glad that selling-wise Suecee made everything right with a refund for no items in what I would consider a fine and timely manner

I have decided that I will also be declining my parcel if and when it arrives, since I waited so long for the ponies, I decided to buy other replacements for the one's from Suecee that never turned up at the time. I will do what ponyRN is going to do. Sorry, but I don't want anymore problems, I'd rather just keep my money and not be involved anymore. I have a lot of stuff going on at the moment and the added stress of this transaction hasn't helped.
Thanks

 Icecrystalline  It's always stressful when a trade or sale goes wrong.  I am glad you found another seller in the meantime though.  I would as you said just refuse the package if it shows up and have it sent back to suecee.

Claramel have you received any confirmation that your package was resent?

No, Claramels package hasn't been sent yet.  I do shipping on Mondays normally, and told her this.  She will receive confirmation on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday).

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received the 5$ refund for shipping overcharge that suecee had promised back at the beginning of January. She told me that she had sent it to somebody else by mistake. Thank you suecee for making things right.

I recieved th box today, I thought I would open it and pay Suecee for the one item that I hadn't bought from someone else, a pink swirl shell. I opened the box carefully to find.... NO shell. Considering that meant the most to me, and I paid her for it I am not happy. Instead, she sent two other ponies I said I didn't want and did not pay for. I will be re-wrapping the box and returning them all to the post office. I am not really suprised to be honest, it hasn't been a pleasant transaction at all. I wasn't in when RM delivered it, it was really bashed up when it arrived. So, I will be returning the box to the PO asap. I refuse to pay to have them returned as what I wanted wasn't there, I will just 'refuse' the parcel.

As for feedback, frankly I am really not happy. I will not be writing feedback as I feel that if I did it would not be pleasant. I just want this whole experience to be over to be quite honest.

Thank you to the mods for helping me through this and for helping everyone else. I am livid about paying good money for an item I have wanted for a long time to find it not even in there and two other ponies I made it very clear I didn't want. I even wrote post-it's on paypal saying this is payment for... shell etc... I made it very very clear.

Sorry about my rant but I am simply very annoyed. This has assured my to not buy from Canada as well as America now. Its a totaly shame, but this has what it has come down to. :(

It's impossible for the shell not to be in there. I packaged it myself. There was no way I would have sent it with out the ponies that had been paid for! The extra 2 ponies would have been a mistake.  I wouldn't have sent you 2 extra ponies for nothing.

If the postoffice wont take the box back with out you paying for shipping, what do you plan to do? Keep the ponies? You had already stated in this thread that you would refuse the package altogether, that means the package would have come back here with out me needing to pay for return shipping.

Suecee: I am not dishonest, and by you commenting 'would I keep them' is extremely rude. Of course I don't plan to keep them. One way or another they will be taking them back. I opened the package in front of my mother and my neighbour who is a policeman, and they know I will be taking them back. Of course you know you didn't send the shell, because if you did it would still be in there! I am outraged that you are lying about this on here just to protect your reputation, I have worked very hard to uphold a good relationship with you, but now franky, lying to make me seem like the one who is bad is simply wrong. I am so hurt that you would do this. I will be sending them back and then I don't want any buying selling or trading with you again after this, you have really given me a hard time, making me always PM you asking where my items were.
I hope others can see that I'm not in the wrong here, I feel utterly hurt.

If I accept a parcel at the post office, open in, look thru it, and then decide I dont want it, I cant just take it back to the PO and tell them, "I decided I dont want this, etc." they wont allow me to "Refuse" the package without paying for return postage.  So, if you refuse to pay return postage, and they dont take the box as a 'refusal/unclaimed' how will they get back here? That's what I meant by keeping the package.  If they refuse to take it and you refuse to pay the shipping.

Obviously, there is no reputation to protect.  I wouldn't lie to you about the item being packaged.  That would be stupid.  You said the box was badly damaged.  Was it opened in any way? Could the shell have fallen out? Could someone have tampered with the box? I've had it happen to me before so it's not an unheard of occurance.  I wasn't isinuating that you were bad, wrong, etc.
Title: Re: suecee: Anyone else waiting for ponies?
Post by: Icecrystalline on February 21, 2012, 10:25:38 AM
No, nobody could have tampered with the box, it was very tightly sealed with cellotape, the box was crushed a bit (bent and crushed). The cellotape was under the Canada PO labels, so no I am certain the shell has not fallen out.
Thank you for clarifying that you were not insulting me. I will retape the box and take it to the PO, I hope they will take it back. If not, I'm sure what I'll do yet. I will need to think about it.

Icecrystalline can you please clarify if the shell was indeed payed for.  I am reading back and it is to my understanding that suecee had refunded you for these items.  And that when they arrived she appreciated that you pay her for them or as you stated you were going to refuse the package.  I am wondering this because you stated you paid for it.

Did you resend a payment just for the shell?

I am not sure about the resending of the package in your country.  I know in the US they do not allow you to return to sender if the package has been opened. :(

 Don't let this discourage you from doing sales with Canada or the US.  I have had many. many wonderful overseas transactions over the years and I can honestly say I have had only one or two problems at the most.

Hello Ponylady, I had paid for all the items, they didn't turn up so I was refunded. I later decided I would pay Suecee for just the shell and send the others back. After finding the two extra seaponies, I was a bit confused. I will be sending them (all items I recieved in the box) back to her as soon as I can. I am going to the PO tomorrow anyway so I will get back to everyone then. I hope this helps Ponylady. xxx

I want to be quite sure that I understand this part; After you were refunded the entire amount you did or did not resend payment for the shell that was missing?

Post by: Icecrystalline on February 22, 2012, 12:08:54 PM
I paid for the items and the didn't arrive. I later decided that I would keep the shell and pay her back for it (as in pay her back the amount she refunded me for just the shell). I would then send the others back. My local PO was shut today so couldn't go in and ask them.
Will do tomorrow when they're open again xxx

Okay, so you were waiting for the shell to get there first and you didn't go ahead and pay for the shell in advance, right? (AKA suecee doesn't owe you another refund?) That's good then.

Let us know what your P.O. says when you find out something. I hope that they will accept the parcel without your having to pay return shipping, but don't be surprised if they won't!! :yikes:

Thanks for your help mods, you've been great.

That's great news IceC!! Once suecee has received the parcel you can put this whole messy affair behind you!

As for feedback, frankly I am really not happy. I will not be writing feedback as I feel that if I did it would not be pleasant. I just want this whole experience to be over to be quite honest.

Please consider leaving feedback for this transaction!!!! Buyers will never know what kind of trouble dealing with suecee can be if no one ever leaves honest and informative feedback!! You don't have to be rude or mean in any way to leave honest feedback. You only need to state the facts and mark the feedback accordingly. It doesn't have to be pleasant, just accurate. ;)
suecee has already assured us that she does not leave retaliatory feedback; there is no reason why you shouldn't leave feedback for this transaction. While it's never fun leaving less than perfect feedback for anyone it's extremely important for a trust-based community such as this that the neutral and negative feedbacks also get documented!

Yes, I would definitely send it back to her since she refunded me my money. That is the only right thing to do. I also found another Baby Lemon Drop for my herd so all is well.

Claramel I am sorry to hear this.  It has been almost 2 months since she said she would be reshipping it.  The last post she made about it was Feb.17th and said she would be shipping out on that Tuesday.  Her last sign on date here was March 29th.  When did you message her?

I am sorry to say but at this point I would look into leaving appropriate feedback.  It has been ample enough time and you have been more than patient.

How disappointing that this has been going on for so long  :(
I would suggest  sending her an "urgent response needed" message on the email addy you sent her the paypal payment to, as well as here,  letting her know that the parcel still has not arrived, so you would like a refund at this point.  Give her a few more days-a week after that to respond and sort things out and then leave some appropriate feedback. Its never a very nice thing to have to do, but its neccessary

It is really terrible that she told you she no longer communicates via PM, Claramel!  :(  She should at least be semi-active considering how often she is selling ponies.

Icey.  When did you resend me the sea ponies? I am still waiting on them.

MoongazerThePony - I dont recall selling a Blossom. Do you perhaps have the wrong person??

Claramel - I emailed you earlier today.

Lovesbabysquirmy - I am not responding to PMs because I find it easier to do things by email. I am no longer selling ponies on here so there's really no need to be constantly checking PMs.

If you could please try and keep on eye on your PM's for just a bit until this gets sorted.  I would greatly appreciate it  :)

Title: Re: suecee: Anyone else waiting for ponies?

Ponylady - I do still check my PMs.  I reply with my email address and ask them to converse with me that way.

Icey - I did receive the package today. Thanks for returning it.  And I found the Pink swirl shell. My daughter had pulled it out of the box (she's 4) and went to play with it.  I came across it the other day. When I boxed everything up I didn't tape it right away which I should have and then didn't double check it when I taped it later which I should have as well. I'm sure you dont want it but I thought I would let you know.
