Is there any info yet on their future plans? I wonder if they’ll stay within the scope of family-friendly RPGs, or try out other genres... Should be interesting either way.

I'm hoping to see more Pokemon, starter evos, and the legendaries that'll help me decide what I want more.

I don't think starter evos will be likely until later in the year like with Sun and Moon (those were revealed what, September? And the demo was datamined the next month), but I think we're overdue to see the legendaries at least. Next week we'll probably see the bird, bug, and rat for the region, basic mechanics, how the gyms will work maybe? 15 minutes is a bit of time...

By E3 2016 we knew the starters, the region, the legendaries, the rat/bug/bird, the professor, and maaaybe the rival (Hau), and Lillie...? And by August we learned about Mimikyu, Beware, Alolan Forms, and Team Skull...

This time around we only have the region and starters...

I do have to say I'm really impressed with the "wild area". It is kind of the kick that Sword/Shield needed. The controllable camera, the much larger areas, and the Pokemon roaming. All of this is what I really wanted to see, but didn't think I could even hope for.

Dynamax is...eh. But the battle graphics at least do have some really neat effects.

It's very neat to see a female professor! I thought she was the first but was reminded that there was one in Generation V. I have a horrible memory. And that's really sad because Gen V games are my favorite!

A lot of people don't like the legendaries, but I kind of do. It helps that they're wolves, which I already like. They're maybe a little overdesigned (especially the shield one) but I feel like they are less so than many legendaries (even going back to Gen II's legendary dog trio which have always been very strange to me, these two look so much better IMO). Also, much, much better than the UBs, which I'd honestly like to forget about. I hope those don't return... Just my opinion.

I hope we get a neat new unicorn Pokemon this generation.

Wow, I don't like those legendaries at all! I'm not a dog person in the slightest and these legendaries don't seem...grand enough to me? Like, they look like just another set of pair pokemon. Dynamax seems underwhelming compared to the fun designs of Mega Evolution, it's sad that that was dropped.
I do like the idea of multiplayer in a wild area, though! That's something that will be much fun.

Wooloo and Corviknight was cool. Was annoyed by the lack of mid starter evos. Not interested in dynamax. Can't do the group battles so that aspect of the game i out for us. I like the shield legendary a lot, though the exclusives will ultimately decide me since we can't trade.

I forgot to mention that I like the pokemon by weather thing. Perhaps we'll get gen 5's seasons back as well? And I like the free roam idea. Looks like they also brought the sneak up mechanic back from OR/AS. Nice.

Oooof, I still can't get excited about this Dynamax is lame but then I've never liked any of the gimmicks, so I'll freely admit that was never going to be "for me", haha. (Still, I never thought I'd miss Mega Evolution...! Definitely preferred that over.. whatever this is. )

Apparently Rotomdex is coming back I was really hoping that little twerp would be a one-off, I HATED that... And I'm with you Harmonie, I hope UBs aren't coming back either. Ugly, weird things. @__@;

Tailrustedtealeaf pretty much said my thoughts on the wolves. I thought I'd love them since I'm always up for wolves, but idk, I just can't click with them? I agree that they don't really feel *special*. Maybe because we had new wolf Pokemon just last gen (Lycanroc)... I dunno, I'm not one to say "we already have a Pokemon based off that animal!" but somehow these two just aren't really standing out to me.

The sheep is cute, though :> and Corviknight is probably my third favourite from the new designs we've seen so far. Scorbunny is still my favourite overall though.

Dynamax does nothing for me, either. I knew there'd be a gimmick, but I was hoping for something a little more fun than just "MONSTERS GROW BIG". I've barely seen anyone who cares for that 

I'm in love with Corviknight, I reckon I'll put one on my team (even though I shouldn't be thinking of that just yet). I personally like the legendaries, but I can see why others might not.

Also, glad I'm not the only one who's not interested in the UBs... They still don't feel like they belong in the games. I know they're from a different world, but they still don't fit.
