Advice on selling

I feel a little silly asking this but... how would you go about selling a sought after pony item? I've had plenty expressions of interest when i was considering trading it but have decided to straight up sell. I am trying to think of the most fair way to sell it so as to not personally upset anyone and so that everyone gets a fair chance.

Would the best thing to do be put it up for offers?

I would put it up for offers for a week That way everyone has an opportunity to see it and make their highest offer

I agree with Oneleo.

And you could add maybe something in your sig. about it that people will see to give you some extra exposure.

I agree too - taking offers for a week is the best way to sell it to give everyone a fair chance    and I would also go with  Ponyladys idea of putting it in your sig so that when you post, your sig is advertising it too , and you will probably get more offers
