The seller and little.fox have worked out an agreement and she is returning the pony.

I am glad to hear the two of you could work through this. :)

Also I do not think it was done deliberately, things can get overlooked.  It has happened to all of us. ;)

That is really true - and also faults can happen to everyone.
I'm glad you worked that out - and I've my fingers crossed for you to find a nice Nightlight soon.

As Ponylady has said, Nightlight is on her way back to the seller.

This whole thing has rather put me off looking for another one tho, as this is the second time this exact thing has happened to me with her. The seller lists as NM with NO MARKS and the pony arrives with marks. I don't why this keeps happening but it's SO disappionting and each time I waste about $15 on the return postage. At the moment I'm inclined to give up on the whole thing.

Thanks for all your input and well wishes!

Ok, I'm having some really strange comms with this seller. In one message she states that she didn't really look the pony over after getting it out of storage. This makes me wonder where on earth she was getting the description from? Was she just doing it from memory? That statement actually made me quite cross. Not the smartest of things sending out a $200 pony that you have repeatedly stated is MINT, without looking it over.

They have now relisted the pony, on eBay this time, with this picture:

In the eBay description she writes: "This pony is near MINT, it has NO flaws at all, just a tiny little spot on her hind leg as you can see on the picture - thats the only flaw she has."

I find this a bit confusing, is the mark a flaw or is it not? At least attention is brought to it and bidders made aware this time. At the time of me posting this I have yet to recieve my refund.

little.fox ~ Did you file a complaint with ebay? Or did you just go on the seller's word?

I am disappointed to hear that no refund has been made and the pony is up on ebay for sale.

Have you emailed your seller inquiring about it yet?

that "tiny spot" is a pretty damn big spot, and for a collector is a pretty big flaw. It's in a prominent space, it's dark, and very noticeable. I can't see how they could possibly miss that or think that a pony with that mark could be considered mint.

I really dont understand that. At the german mlp board, I tried to make her understand, that usign the phrase "mint" means "no flaws at all". She said " I understand" but seeing this now makes me think, she did not understand at all or does not care about. That flaws is, as NoDivision said, noticeable and pretty big. Not mint at all. No way. *sigh*

little.fox - please keep us updated on when she refunds you.

I would send her a friendly reminder.

The mark on the hind leg is obvious. I don't get it how the seller could not notice it. Especially as it's a pony that is notorious for getting marks - that would make you want to check it even more thoroughly before selling, wouldn't it.

Not sure if I misunderstood but did you have to pay for return postage yourself after all? Although the return is because of the sellers mistake?

I am wondering the same.  I think it kinda... well, strange that the pony is listed on eBay again already although you are still waiting for your refund. I mean, you live in the US, that should give the seller quite some time to refund you while waiting the pony to be back at them?  Sorry to hear this went so wrong for you. And as Sugarminty stated, I am kinda sad to see that the seller still not seem to understand that this "tiny spot" is quite a big flaw for this pony, especially since it has been repeatedly said also on the german pony board...

I agree, it's rude to not have refunded immediately.
