My goodness, little.fox!! What happened, if I may ask? How much of your apartment was affected?

So many people in this swap have undergone such hardship these past few months. Lots of you to pray for. I'm not saying I don't have my own troubles, but it hasn't felt right to share them as they pale in comparison. I wish I could take away all your hurts, return your loved ones to you (friends and pets alike), and undo any damage that has been done.

My dear swap buddies, you are all so very special and so strong. You have experienced so much adversity. I hope that in some small way, coming into this thread lifts your spirits a little and gives you hope.

Quick update from me while I can, my computer is still messed up(borrowing atm, so this will be quick) thus the lack of activity. Somehow I got the dates mixed up, instead of the 26th I thought the deadline was the 29th, my bad. Though I did ship today! Nothing received yet, I apologize again though for shipping so late. Should have just shipped early since I'd had it ready(was on a trip this past week so I figured I'd ship it when I got home). Oy.

Well it was my freezer that burst into flames, strangely enough. Some electrical problem. My apartment will have to be completely redone, new wallpaper, floors, the lot. My kitchen, hallway and bathroom is all charred and black, while my living room and bedroom "only" has smoke and water damage. My ponies are currently packed up waiting for the grand rescue attempt. Hopefully I can get them all cleaned up and restored. Fingers and hooves crossed for me?

I hope everything goes smoothly for you and you get your apartment fixed quickly and your ponies can be cleaned up well. Fire is one of my worst fears. My mom used to light candles all the time at home but gave up because I'd always go blow them out. We have a gas fireplace and I hate when she turns it on in the winter. I hate having a fireplace like that.

Oh my goodness, how incredibly ironic. Fire and ice. Do you have insurance? How much damage was done in terms of items lost? I know they are "just" ponies, but it would break my heart if my collection was ever ruined. What condition are your ponies in right now?
