Personal-

Where did you get your user name?

It was something I came up with on the spot. I love ponies with glitter!

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy reading! I mostly enjoy anything fantasy and sci-fi, but occasionally I'll find books from other genres that I love. I've also been doing a lot of diamond painting lately.

Do you have any pets?

A cat, hamsters, and fish!

Do you collect anything other than ponies?

I also collect Build a Bears, Webkinz, Lion King toys, Care Bears, Star Wars toys, and Elvis Presley merchandise.

Ponies-

How long have you been collecting ponies?

I got my first ponies around 2004/2005, but I got seriously about collecting them around 2014.

Why did you start collecting ponies?

They bring me a lot of joy! I love horses and anything fantasy, so it was inevitable that I'd love ponies. They're also very nostalgic!

Who is your favorite pony and why?

G4 Twilight Sparkle. My favorite color is purple, and I relate to her a lot!

Who is your least favorite pony and why?

G2 Miss Painter. I'm not a fan of her color scheme.

Who is your favorite pony from another country?

My Mexican Twilight!

Who is your favorite fakie?

I have a little green and pink Lanard pony that I love!

Who was your first pony?

I'm not sure. It was either G1 Starglow, G3 Rainbow Flash, or G3 Petal Blossom

What pony did you get recently?

G3 Abra-ca-dabra!

What is your favorite generation?

It's a tie between G1 and G3.

What is your favorite part about collecting?

I love hunting for ponies at flea markets and thrift stores, as well as restoring them!

How big is your collection?

It's been a while since I've counted my ponies, but I'm estimating I have around 600-700 ponies.

What do your friends and family think about your collection?

My family is supportive of it and they enjoy seeing new ponies I add to my collection. Most of my friends are pretty neutral about it.

Do you still play with your ponies?

Not really, unless you count taking pictures of them occasionally.

If you could have any pony remade in a different generation, who would you choose and why?

G1 Milkway into G3. With G3 ponies having more detailed symbols, I'd love to see what Milkway would've looked like if she was made during G3! Same for any of the other TAF ponies.

What has been the worst part about collecting?

The cost. There are so many ponies that I'd love to own, but can't afford. It's hard to justify spending so much on a toy, so for a lot of ponies I'm just hoping I'll get lucky and find them for a good deal. I try not to spend more than $50 on a single pony.

What is your ultimate collecting goal?

I'd love to own every G3 pony!

Who is your grail pony and why?

G1 Nightglider. Unfortunately I don't have her yet.

Do you prefer loose or MIP ponies?

Normally I prefer loose so I can enjoy them! But there are some ponies I prefer MIP due to the design of the packaging. So it really depends on the pony.

Are you a customizer?

I am! I don't customize ponies a whole lot, but I do enjoy doing it from time to time.

What do you think of custom ponies?

I think it's a great way to give a baity pony a new life!

What are acceptable and unacceptable pony flaws, in your opinion?

I don't mind things that can easily be repaired, such as trimmed hair. I'm always willing to rehair a pony if I can get a exact color match. Repainting symbols is iffy since in my opinion it rarely ever looks exact. Spots that don't sunfade easily or bite/chew marks are unacceptable for me.

Would you rather have a bait pony or a fakie?

A bait pony!

Do you watch pony shows/movies?

Not very often, but I do enjoy the G1 movie and some G4 episodes.

What is the worst thing you've ever done to a pony?

I scored a really nice G1 Fleecey at a flea market for a dollar, brought her home, and left her somewhere where my cat was able to get to her. He found her and chewed her up. To this day I regret not putting her somewhere safe.

I wish Hasbro would focus on making all sorts of new ponies instead of giving us the same 5-6 ponies every year. I miss the variety they used to have!

I think the most underappreciated pony is G1 Coco Berry because her pose and colors are great!

I don't like most deflocked ponies because their colors are too bright.

I love G3 because of how detailed they are! A lot of them also have tinsel in their hair which I love.

I'm a huge Tolkien fan and enjoy anything by him! I also love a lot of Madeleine L'engle's books, the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, A Rumor of Dragons by Margaret Weis, and Replica by Lauren Oliver.

I'm a huge Tolkien fan and enjoy anything by him! I also love a lot of Madeleine L'engle's books, the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, A Rumor of Dragons by Margaret Weis, and Replica by Lauren Oliver.

I also love Tolkien. Silmarillion is my go to book . Never read anything by the others though, except Weis, so have to check them out. Thanks!
